10:40 Whitebeard is testing Luffy with conquerors Haki. And because Luffy doesnt get knocked out by Whitebeards Haki at close range, he recognizes his strength: "How saucy u are!" This detail is often overlooked, u can see the marine dropping unconcious close to Whitebeards ship when Whitebeard uses it.

don't look that deep into it. the marine just fell cuz the ground was shaking. if that was wb's actual haki more than 1 person would've fell and the marine didnt een pass out he just fell on his ass. the haki system was not well developed at this point

"everthing is connected" yup, thats when you start realizing that the world of One Piece is basically a living world, it doesn't only move forward when its focusing on Luffy nor any of the Straw hats, even if we are not seeing it on screen, everyone is always living their life and doing their thing. Thats why from now on you'll see characters you haven't seen in a while and learn what they have been up to and why they are where they are.

It's weird when you realize that Luffy could've completely avoided the Impel Down arc and reached Ace a lot easier if he had just stayed with Boa and waited at Marineford for them to bring Ace there.

Kizaru's personality is SO hard to decipher lol I can see him both being mad and not being mad about Luffy's escape last time. He seems to respect the concept of duty and he did lash out against other pirates at Sabaody (As told at HQ from the beginning of Amazon Lily) but he's so damn nonchalant about everything. It's a challenge to figure him out lol

Wonder where Crocodile got that scar on his face... This arc is an amazing culmination of hundreds of chapters, with twists and turns, shining moments and failures, and everything in between. Foreshadowing, too. How many "D"s are in attendance by the end of this battle? The number might climb as the story goes.

Luffy's not even a slightest bit intimidated with Whitebeard. That's a trait fitting for a King 😉 Whitebeard surely has heard of Luffy before. Now he got to see for himself what makes the kid so special. Declaring himself to be the future King of the Pirates without even batting an eyelash 😂 that's truly such a Luffy thing to do.
