Also there was a Reverie flashback during the ending of Drum Island (where they picked up Chopper) of Dalton remembering child Vivi. During this meeting there is a brief scene of them showing a picture of Dragon, adding to his mystery that he is a revolutionary and an issue for them.

7 Warlords are very different from 4 Emperors, which Shanks and Whitebeard are a part of. Warlods struck a deal with the Government, but 4 Emperors are the 4 most powerful pirates in the world. Whole Navy & 7 Warlords together are needed to face against one Emperor crew, as it was stated in this episode. They are the most fearsome pirates.

That is really not what was stated in this episode and isn't even true. All the episode says is that the Navy and the 7 warlords have joined together to fight against the 4 Emperors.

36:01 you guys didn’t remember Ace’s full name correctly. It’s natural to think that his name is Monkey D. Ace, but if you look back into the Alabasta arch, his name was revealed to be Portugas D. Ace.

GC - Galley-La Company. Since everything was washed away they didn't even have a change of clothes, so those were gifted from Galley-La. Luffy - He wasn't in a food coma, He was still asleep. After missing 3 days of meals in Alabasta, he decided that was never going to happen again.

Yeah I think this is part of the reason Oda and the other LA writers felt it okay to reveal Garp early as grandpa because there still would be Dragon and even Shanks rank to reveal etc at this point.

(And fun fact: in the one of the first oneshot stories of One Piece, Garp already appeared but since they animated that story you will see it someday w) Also yeah: his papa was at Loguetown, it was not a fate!! The good thing they added in the LA was that Garp could be Fleet Admiral if he wanted but revealing that he is his Grandfather that early i didnt like that much because its happening that late in the anime.

Dragon- The worlds most wanted man who wants to overthrow the world government Shanks- One of the four emperors whose power is only equal to the entire navy and the seven warlords of the sea What an informative episode. And remember, we saw Dragon another time in the Vivi flashback during the conference of the worlds kings Where the monarchs discussed the danger of Dragon the rovolutionary It just went by so quickly. And we know Ace is in the crew of Whitebeard, who is another emperor. Think of how many emperors, warlords and Admirals we still dont know.

GC stands for Galley-La Company! Edit: Glad you guys figured that out! And despite the Garp reveal being spoiled by the live action, there was another family reveal that was luckily NOT spoiled so it was still a great episode nonetheless! Shanks is like a super huge deal. Like a Yonko (one of the Four Emperors) that the Shichibukai (Seven Warlords) were formed because the World Government and Navy couldn’t handle them. Dragon, Shanks, Ace and Garp are all super big deal despite Garp being only a Vice Admiral.

32:50 It's clever - we get focused when we first see him on his green cloak and face tattoo and the fact that the weather started acting strange around him, and then we get focused on only some of the more cryptic things he said, like "what reason would there be to interfere with a man's departure?" or "the world is still waiting for our answer. We don't pick up on other things he said like "a pirate huh? Well that's fine by me" or "if that's your decision then go" and we don't ask ourselves WHY he would be talking about Luffy or even to Luffy........and don't really pick up on the fact that he's talking to him as if he was giving him permission or his blessing to go out and become a pirate.......nor do we ask ourselves why he'd give Luffy his blessing....

Blame the Live Action then again it was made as if Netflix might not let them reach post enies lobby (it's a lot of seasons to cover 3 more sagas being Alabasta, Skypeia, Water 7) I feel the impact is so much lesser in the LA due to the new audience are not yet introduced to Aokiji, an Admiral to guess how high the ranking of vice admiral or being called a Navy Hero (there just wasn't any strong Navy guys around as they skip smoker lounge town part as well) at best they just match Garp with Mihawk
