Yea, I'm the same, if a reactor is not enjoying an episode that I enjoyed, then I will very quickly find something else to watch. They are allowed to not like it, but I am allowed to not like their reaction and not be willing to waste my time watching someone that does not like something I enjoyed.

She's always making leaps and bounds in character development, and this season's given us two of her best episodes so far: Fluttershy Leans In, and this one. The lengths she went to to cure Zecora were just...wow! I didn't think it was possible for me to be any prouder of her than I already was, but I was proved wrong. All I can say is, that's my girl. =) It did hurt to see her go through so much grief and pain in this, though, from her guilt in Zecora getting sick (even though it was by no means her fault), lack of sleep, and contracting swamp fever herself, not to mention getting stung by those flash bees. And speaking of the fever, that is one of the darkest things the show's thrown at us. It basically told us, without outright saying it, that Zecora was gonna _die_ by the end! I suppose this puts a sobering spin on Fluttershy's desire to be a tree now... And while I approve of the lesson of taking care of yourself if you want to take care of others, it didn't help that we didn't have a clear understanding of how long it would take the swamp fever to take full effect. It was good to finally see Meadowbrook in this episode too. In response to the confusion of her first being described as an Eastern Unicorn with 8 magical items, when she's really an Earth pony healer from a bayou, I've come to believe that it's just the result of history getting the facts about her muddled. Zecora did say there were many different accounts of her doings as the Mystical Mask, and not even Twilight could find out who she was; it took Fluttershy digging deep and refusing sleep to find out. Cattail seems like a fun guy, but those flash bees...I was stung by a bee in the ear when I was a kid, and I've been wary of them ever since. Last thing I wanna say before I wrap up this ramble: Cauliflower? Blech. (No offense, Spike.) Sweet potatoes, on the other hand? Yum! =)

Fluttershy being adorable and admirable is the highlight of this episode, one of her best I may add.

To me Yellowjackets (a social wasp) are the worst, those fuckers swarm and chase you. If you try to hide from them by jumping in water or something, they'll wait. and not a sting once and dies kind of thing, like bees, they'll keep going. and they can nest underground, I remember stirring up a nest of them when I was mowing the lawn, they got a couple stings in before i ditched the mower and ran inside, somehow managing to open the door and close it without any getting in.

I love it when the intros are the perfect length that the background music ends right as the episode starts

This is definitely one of my favourite Fluttershy episodes. Like 'Discordant Harmony' it confirms Fluttershy's hidden strength, as well as how far she'll go for her friends -- and I think she and Meadowbrook share some similarities. On the subject of Mage Meadowbrook, when Twilight mentioned her way back in 'The Cutie Map,' she referred to Mage Meadowbrook as an 'eastern Unicorn' associated with eight enchanted items. Now we find out Meadowbrook is an Earth Pony from the Bayou. Southern Swap 'n' all. I guess Mistmane took over Meadowbrook's old position, huh?

Blank Slate and now you have the best reaction to this episode yay! Felt like so many people disliked this episode. This is one of my top favorites this season, not only being a Fluttershy episode... but more mythos and world building for Equestria as a whole! This season has just been phenomenal and honestly is one of if not my favorite season!

I'm scared of wasps too, well same goes for hornets and bees. It's not even so much the fact that they sting, the buzzing noise they make always made me super anxious.

When I was little, like only 3 years old, I tried to pet one of those really fluffy bumblebee’s, and it stung me. I still to this day think they’re cute, but I know never to pet them 😂😂😂 I totally understand the fear though. Especially since so many are allergic to wasps and bees. But I would definitely have to agree I’m not a big fan of wasps either.

I am a Fluttershy fan and I'm proud of who she has become... every single episode from Fluttershy leans in, Discordant Harmony and Health of Information are really good in my humble opinion. I've seen an episode of Fluttershy from season 1 a couple of weeks ago and man she has come a long LONG way. They've made me love her much more... season 7 really is my favorite

Fluttershy was great in this, she was pushing herself a little bit too hard but then again she felt bad for getting Zecora sick, plus it was a life and death situation, at least death in the sense where Zecora would have turned into a tree; which when you think of it, that's pretty dark really. Zecora and Twilight were both great in this as well and nice to see more diversity with characters. Great reaction and can't wait for more! XD.

well, the episode did feature the top 2 of the main 6, and Zecora. what's not to like?

This season has really upped the game as far as injuries on ponies go. We've got literal wounds and some pretty serious-looking injuries. We even had that scene with Luna's teeth falling out which was not only psychologically a very striking moment, but probably as close to "gore" as this show can ever get. I'm surprised they're getting away with some of it. But I guess when a show runs successfully for so long, the censors slowly become more and more lenient on stuff.

I liked how serious this episode was compared to the normal shenanigans. Though the largest insects I've ever seen were in Japan, they have some insanely huge wasps. I got chills walking past some really big ones...they were like the length of my hands. Also there are new Star Vs this week if you weren't aware.

Every time I hear "Bring out your dead!" I can only think of Monty Python's The Holy Grail. "I'm not dead." And yes, the masks were very reminiscent of those worn by Doctors during the plague to avoid "bad air". Foul smelling air was thought to carry sickness. Doctors would wear masks with long snout like chambers they filled with perfumes and strong smelling herbs like garlic, and some would stuff vinegar soaked rags in as well. Of course, this wasn't how airborne sickness worked, nor was the bubonic plague airborne. (It could be caught from an infected person's cough, however.) The illness is also reminiscent of a plague, it was most bacterial in nature and spread from one person to the next rapidly. Though, I'd say it is likely parasitic. As the plant would have no reason for this other than reproduction because it would do little in protection. I think it would be unlikely that the plant would be both seed-bearing and have this as a means to reproduce.Though it obviously is a seed-bearing plant. Pollen is that which in seed plants produces the male gamete. A parasitic nature would also explain it's bright colouration, though that's normally found in flowers to attract things for pollination. Also, it strikes me as strange that it would have orange polka dots. Bold colours like red or orange, especially in a pattern or over a contrasting colour is meant as a warning in nature. So it wouldn't be smart to warn away if you reproduce by the means of parasitic assimilation. It harkens to entomopathogenic fungus, those like cordyceps. It's odd that it would be so obviously parasitic though have all these things that conflict with parasitic tendencies and aslo contain pollen, reffering to its ability to create seeds. Though, this is a little girls cartoon, and thusly I'm just overthinking this.

The finale definitely sticks the landing. I hope you get to it before being significantly spoiled. At the beginning of this season, I had my doubts about a season 9, but they just hit it out of the park. Most shows are dead by season 7; I haven't seen many that people called such a late season their favorite. I can't think of any in fact.

So if you've reacted to everything else and just have to make the PMV and edit, it's safe to say without spoiling you. > Maybe they're setting [Meadowbrook's return] up for season 9. LUL.

I enjoyed the episode, but I get the feeling that a lot of people missed the morale of this episode. While it was great to see Fluttershy's determination, the whole point was that she was pushing herself too hard to the point that it took her longer to realize the solution to the flash bee problem because she was too tired to think straight. She says as much at the end of the episode.

why is it so hard to mention death in this show? there are plenty of other shows that have the same target audience that mention it. is it the times we’re in and how much more sensitive people are? if they can represent the LGBT community in these shows they can easily get away with saying someone is dead. Arthur had a episode dealing with cancer and its impact and it’s for like what 4 year olds? the grim adventure’s of billy and mandy was tv y8 and one the main characters was well death himself. death is just something that happens in life and children should learn about it. i think turning into a tree would frighten a child more than kicking the bucket...
