Lufthansa has the largest commercial Boeing 747 fleet. It consists of two types, the 747-8i and the much older 747-400. The latter is the plane that took us from Seoul Incheon to Frankfurt Airport in roughly 13 hours. We were happy to sit in business class on the upper deck of this legendary aircraft.

If it’s the volume, I agree, it’s a tad too loud. It differs between devices you watch and edit with (laptop, phone, headphones, speakers,…) and I haven’t nailed that part of editing just yet. I’m working on it. If it’s about the selection of music, that’s too bad. Tastes are different and the selection of free, non-copyright music is limited.

So row 84 is the best? My parents will fly business class for the first time and I want to give them the best seats :)

If it’s this aircraft. The 747-400 then any Seat in the Upper Deck is preferable to the lower deck in my opinion. 84 is good the first row of the Upper Deck might also be a good option.

Not on the 777 only the 330. But seats in the first 2 rows of business class (5&6) are in the „Stübli“ the mini cabin behind first class. I would aim for those seats. You can see a glimpse of that cabin in my recent Swiss First Class Video.

Hallo Tanja! Meines Wissens gibt es bei Lufthansa in der Business Class “nur” ein Schlafshirt. Einen kompletten Pyjama gibt es nur in der First Class. Ob es für Nachtflüge nach Asien anders geregelt ist, weiß ich leider nicht genau. Hoffe das hilft dir trotzdem.
