Hey guys! Today I thought I would share a comparison between the Lug Tempo in the Matte Lux fabrication in Slate Blue against the Lug Aviator in Heather Grey. Hope you enjoy!

Have both, and love both for different reasons. The Tempo is so gorgeous in the new matte VL. The white goes with everything and it really pops! One thing I didn't like about the aviator is the inside lining is not sewn down. It seems unfinished, but still love all of the different compartments.

Also, the Tempo for me is nicer as a road trip bag or to wear to school events where I need to pack a little bit extra. The silhouette changes when packed too. It doesn't have as much of a tapered look, and gets a little more boxy.

Love the matte luxe fabric as well. I do like the new Tempo because the openings are great - perfect as a work bag. For travel the Aviator or PJ backpack SE are in my opinion are the best!

I completely agree with you about the Aviator. A great bag for traveling. I also always pack a packable backpack along with me as well. Hope you enjoy your weekend!

I have 2 Tempo bags -one in matte lux blush & one in VL wine ( so pretty) and I agree, really great for work. Perhaps travel as personal or laptop bag? but I've never used them for that purpose ( yet).

Thanks for the comparison video. I've been looking at the Aviator but wanted to see a video by a consumer and yours was the only one I could find. It looks like both front and back would have room for packing cubes. Luglive has them on sale today for Black Friday. Thinking I might pick one up. I hope they come out with more colors at some point in time.

I love the Aviator so much. It definitely has room for packing cubes. If I didn't already have one I would grab one on a Black Friday deal for sure. There isn't anything I don't like about the Aviator. Hope you have a great weekend.

The Aviator organization is amazing! I just worry it’s too large- I’m only 5’1”. I just don’t like the shape of the tempo- how it tapers in at the top. But the new fabrication is definitely something I want to try!

I think the Aviator is a really good size. I could see why you might think it's too large tho. I haven't been able to figure out exactly what it is I don't like about the Tempo but the shape like you mention might be one of the things. Haha. I think that new fabrication is great. I now have it in 3 bags and love it. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving.

Thanks for your detailed review. I’ve been so hesitant on the Aviator only because I haven’t traveled much so I’m not sure if I can get away with using it day to day. Of course I won’t pack much but IDK, so not sure and it’s such a great looking bag…..I’m so confused 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️😂 black rainbow or heather gray 🤷🏻‍♀️😄 are u still loving your aviator? I guess I’m hoping you’ve discovered something you don’t like which will prompt me not to get it 😂😊 I totally agree, i would also love to see all the bags in Matte Luxe! ❤❤❤

Haha you crack me up. I actually really love the Aviator. Maybe even more than the PJ Duffle and that is saying a lot coming from me bc I love the PJ Duffle so much. The only thing I don't like about the Aviator is how heavy it can get if you pack it really full. It can hold a lot. I'm partial to heather gray. I really like how the VL black contrasts against it. But if you are looking to use it day to day I think it's a little big for that. Hope you have a great week!

Good Morning Amanda. I wondered how you liked your matte luxe tempo. Looks like “3 strikes and you’re out.” for the tempo. I’ve never purchased one. I did buy the yacht. My head told me “why are you buying this? There’s no zipper on top and not much organization?” But I was seduced by the metallic espresso color. I am going to give it a fair shot. I’m going to use it with packing cubes and take it as a weekender on a road trip right after Thanksgiving. We’ll see. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It's either 3 times a charm or 3 strikes you are out right? Haha. What do you think about the metallic expresso in person? I'm really liking it but wondered what it looked like IRL. What fun- a road trip after Thanksgiving. Where are you going? Hope you enjoy the rest of your week and enjoy college football on Saturday 😉

So our road trip...you won't be surprised to know that we are heading back to Kansas for a football game! 😆 Our last game of the season and a very important one. It's the "Sunflower Bowl". The University of Kansas (Jayhawks) are coming to Manhattan, to play us. We. MUST. Win! LOL

Great video! I had to laugh because I have the same tempo and if I bought an aviator it would be in the Heather grey. I haven’t bought it yet because I feel like it’s very similar to the tempo

Yes I did get my sky liner and I really like it! I use it on the weekend because I need to use backpacks during the week because of the grandbabies!

Had to tell you that I caved and bought an aviator. I did find it in the metallic pearl on sale on limolin so I chose that one. It’s a really nice bag
