Watched this and several other DRZ 400 videos and bought one to avoid buggering up my existing bikes. Even made a video! Cheers from the UK.

You may want to consider a zero rated sleeping bag. It get bloody cold out there at night time. Also check out the Apprentice adventurer youtube page. He did this solo on a DRZ and will tell you how much fuel and water is needed.

As you will obviously topping your tank up from the bladders at the first instant they will become less of a problem as far as weight distribution goes. Looks pretty tidy and effective.

i have a denali 2xperson tent and it's fkng useless. the small silver pole doesn't flex enough so after several assemblies it bent. met two guys trail riding and they had the same issue. returned product to anaconda. have the same pillow and this is comfortable. i have to carry very lightweight gear and have similiar items to you. overall weight is important. i have a 20lt and 10lt collapsable fuel bladder. i'm not riding a motorbike yet but i fly a gyro. if you're interested checkout lightsaver from the usa. foldable solar power/battery bank. fantastic product but expensive. anyway, enjoying your videos!!!

Nice setup! Definitely one of the lighter ones I've seen on KZfaq! Is the bike stock power wise? have you taken out the air intake snorkel?

awesome!!! what rear rack are you running? love this set up
@_JoshJB_5 ай бұрын
It's a b&b off-road rear carry rack. I have another video on my channel reviewing it if you're interested.

Hey Josh, You boys don't carry tools and some spare like clutch and brake levers etc? The Suzi must be bulletproof not needing any on trail work i suppose. I ride XR's and we carry a few bits and bobs beyond tubes and air pump

I Like KRIEGA gear a lot, now that i have a XR650L i want pair it up with an OS System, my Question is: Should i get the OS-Base or will other SpecificBike OS rack fit well on the XR650L?

How is 3.7L enough water ? Must be lots of water sources eg creeks ? Not much water over here in WA 😂 always wondered how adventure bikers carry 10l + for a 4-5day trip
@simonjones2645 Жыл бұрын
Rotopax/fuel bladders mate ! 😉 1 fuel , 1 water , heavy but needed 🙄
@Steddywelly Жыл бұрын
@@simonjones2645 oh true! So how much water do you take all up ?
@simonjones2645 Жыл бұрын
@@Steddywelly about 13 litres all up , it's about 3 days worth with a bit in reserve, damage a radiator you'll want it , breakdown you'll want it etc
@_JoshJB_ Жыл бұрын
I carried about 5.5L across the desert. Combo of my water bladder and water bottles. Just topped up in towns where I could on the trip.
