It’s been driving my crazy bc Odicci has a smile like an MLB player and it just hit me. I think it’s Ken Griffey Jr. I gotta do side by side but I think so.

This game turned when Odicci Alexander was HBP in her toe. She was never the same after that. I believe that had she not injured her toe James Madison would have won WCWS. So close yet so far. Keep that pitching genius out of the batter's box. Protect her.

What a hell of a run for James Madison but I agree. If you are throwing at this level, it makes perfect sense rest/protect your ace. Pitching requires so much damn “flow”; physically and mentally and a little nagging toe injury isn’t so little - it screws up your balance and delivery and then it gets in your head.
