I heard when your about to rinse the conditioner out of your hair turn on the cold water and rinse your hair in the cold water because it helps keep the conditioners hydrating and other purposes in so they are really soaked into your hair. But when you use hot water your taking all of that out. So when you use cold water it helps your hair a lot. Sorry if this doesn't make any sense

+Allyson B I don't use cold water because since I have high porosity hair and its hard for my hair to moisturize so using hot water lifts up the hair cuticles and helps high porosity hair soak up moisture. But using heat when you deep condition your hair is good since it lifts the cuticle and the conditioner can really penetrate your hair. I usually just stand outside on a sunny day with a shower cap on my head.

I'm an Africn American and and my natural hair isn't perfectly straight. But about 3 weeks ago, I washed out my relaxer. But since it's fall, there's no humidity, meaning when I flat iron my hair, it doesn't friz up!

Yeah, it is geared more towards curly girls, so if you have straight hair, as in your profile pic, I'd suggest washing every 3 days.

My friend had pretty curly hair and she washed it every 2 days so I think it’s how you let your hair get used to it. You can train your hair to only need to be washed every so often. I was my hair every 2 weeks.

Well, They are beautiful, but there's nothing wrong with wanting to feel pretty and if make up does the job, that's fine. Make up can enhance your features, like adding eyeshadows and lipstick when you think a certain colour looks really good on your skin, or using mascara for your lashes. So it's all good, rlly. :)

But for some people, who aren't blessed with "natural beauty" even tho it's not a good and healthy way, it's a way for them to escape from all the judgement not knowing other people will always judge no matter what. It's just the way it is, even if you sayyou should be proud of your natural face, people will always judge. Make up can make you cahnge, (sadly into the "standard" beautiful look in society) as in longer lashes, fuller lips, smoother/whiter/tanner skin.. and if people feel more confident because of that, it's fine. Beside all of that, Make up is also a way for people to express themselves, like wearing an eyeshadow with the colours you like, changing the way you look everytime since you may be bored of how you look(?) It is fun to play with make up looks :)

+HeyImKeke Having curly hair has nothing to do with it. Just saying. Even for straight haired people, you shouldn't wash your hair more than 2 times a week in my opinion. I dont. That's where dry shampoo comes into the picture.

I am so happy now bc I can watch your videos and I can understand 85% of what you are talking about (with American subtitles) ! just wanted to say i really liked this video and appreciated it because i've recently gotten through a rocky part of my life of almost five years of stress and depression and during those years i neglected my hygiene so even though i'm already halfway through highschool, i'm just now learning how to take care of myself and feel happy and healthy and clean so thank you because your video was a big help.
