They are more into side antagonist of anime. The one who seems appear as main villain since their encounter with MC in every episode, yet easily defeated. But once the real villains appear, they help MC saving the world but being tsundere about it. Plus, its actually their time to shine along side MC. Giving the impression a generic villain were actually helpful and powerfull when their position as true villain of the anime threatened Just like Team Rocket of Pokemon. The same happened at Nobunaga the fool anime. I personally loved that kind of villain lol They had their time to looks cool yet being comedic, weak and foolish most of the time~
