I think I did when I was younger, also King Boo’s original gem was red instead of purple. I’m guessing the eye color change is due to the gem/crown making King Boo stronger than he usually is.

Honestly yes I thought that. When the gem comes from King boo’s crown, it looks like a dark moon piece coming from a possessor ghost that Luigi defeats. But I wonder what happened to it after Luigi went back home.

@@Ninjagal22they didn’t add the purple gooey ghosts either. But in the switch remake we may see the pink and purple ghosts in the credits because most of the ghosts that are seen are the greenies. So it would be boring if we keep seeing the same ghosts often in the credits.
