Playthrough | Part 3: Gloomy Manor 3/3
Our time in the Gloomy Manor is coming to a close.
We finish up the fifth mission which has us hunting down spiderwebs and sucking them up. But it's then we learn that a monstrous spider was the cause of this. So now our next stop will take us down to the cellar. We head for the cellar and confront the spider. For this boss fight, you will need to make sure the spiderwebs burn. Use the flash to stun the spider then drag the web to specific points so that you can damage it. Once you at least damage it the first one, you find that it's a ghost. Flash it and then try to suck up the ghost. But then he returns back to the spider and the process repeats.
As it repeats, things will get much harder for you so you will need to make your moves count. This took me two tries but I swear, it was just annoying. After taking it down a third time, the boss is defeated and you get a piece of the dark moon. This will allow us to head to our next stop, the Haunted Towers.
Part 4 will have us doing a bit of a detour. What for? Simple. Boo hunts and a bonus trial.

It's not mandatory but it is appreciated. Don't forget to support this playthrough if you can. What is it with laptops and firmware updates anyway. Since I updated my windows 11 laptop recently, it seems that the bios time for it has increased by about a second or two. I don't know what the beef but as long as I can continue doing what I can, I really don't give a damn. After all I'm spending less time on it anyway. It makes no difference. I'm probably going to invest in a desktop instead in the future. But anyway, I'll be doing more Monster Hunter Stories tomorrow. We're making some progress at least and hopefully this will mean we can maybe get our hands on some stronger monsties so we can be able to survive. If that happens, you know I'll make sure I be at my strongest. Afterwards I'll shift to Dark Moon and then repeats. Once both are done, I'm moving onto the next playthrough. Speaking of which, I need to work on the July 2024 Update. So got to get to work. Let's get on with Part 3 of #LuigisMansion2HD! And now the conclusion of Glommy Manor finding the first piece of the Dark Moon.

Luigi deals with a huge spider problem in the Gloomy Manor. First, he had to rid the manor of some spider webs that were making progress mostly difficult. After the clean-up, Professor E. Gadd reports that he found the source of the spiders. After the professor found that the paranormal signal was coming from the manor’s cellar, Luigi heads over there via an old elevator… which may or may not be working right. It was at the cellar that he found the source: a giant spider! The only way to beat it was to set the web it was on ablaze, knocking it out. It is revealed that the spider was possessed by a ghost carrying a piece of the Dark Moon! After finally beating the possessor, he finally obtains the Dark Moon fragment! Defeating the ghost also turned the huge spider back to normal, and said spider bolted along with its fellow spiders. After returning to the bunker, the professor cleans up the fragment, which clears up a part of the fog and reveals the next destination: the Haunted Towers.
