I believe the story at the end was: The gem that King Boo had was controlling the ghosts and making them evil, so when the gem suddenly disappeared the ghosts snapped out of King Boo's control and were sad that their home(The Hotel) was destroyed. So they all worked together to rebuild it.

The End. Of one of Luigi’s greatest adventures, Maybe try and find all the boos in a video there’s been tips about finding boos. Or you could try scare scraper by going to Pro E Gadds lab and selecting the big computer in the middle that mode also come with a exclusive boss to that scare scraper mode so yeah be sure to check that mode out.

The boss fight is like the floor 4boss fight shoot a bomb in his mouth and then it’s gonna play a shortcut scene and then you have to use gooey to attack him suck up his tongue with Guzy and then smash him
