Yeahhh that was honestly a misplay when he tp’d to mid when Belveth used Herald. At that point they could have made sure top was secured, giving them a way inside to the enemy nexus. I wouldn’t say “not being aggressive enough” was the play tho. Realistically speaking Annie lost mid, and Ez and Threash lost bot due to ganks from Shaco Depends what you mean by “aggressive” tho

I mean this game was clearly a team gap, belveth going top or not. These two have played before and Makkro has won handedly multiple times. Don't think there were too many situations where he could've made a better play. Like it was so evident that his ez and annie were trolling even past early game.

​​@@gannon6649That's the whole point of Baus' style though, he draws attention and wastes the enemy team's time and tempo then scales like crazy anyways even if he goes 0/10 and gives his team a way easier time. Five belveth ganks that could have been mid/bot ganks or objectives but because she was top so much shaco had free reign to get his team ahead. Ornn gets nothing from baus being dead more, the marginal extra farm and scaling he got was never going to be enough to cover for his mid and bot being behind. Baus gets carried by his team but he creates the conditions for them to get ahead and do that. Ady does the same thing, methods are different but the whole point is to set up their team to carry while not ending up totally useless. Pants was almost there when he said top didn't matter. He's absolutely right, whatever happened top wasn't going to impact the game state at all. Until Baus got people to come bother him instead of pressuring the rest of the map that actually matters, then the game swung in favor of Baus.

I'm actually super interested if someone did math and saw if Baus won more often when his own jungler camped bot and theirs camped top.

Then when he tryhards he hits high challenger every time, on whatever server he wants. Map pressure is a really nebulous thing, there isn't a good way to quantify it.

I think ganking Baus only works effectively if your own top laner scales well into Sion or whatever champion he picks in the top lane e.g. Fiora, because then Baus can never match them in the side and get a tempo advantage that way, while also being a 1v3 or whatever monster who terrorizes the side in the same way he does, except no one can take the 1v1. Think it was demonstrated well with that Riven into Voli matchup where Riven despite being so ahead couldn't carry.

Ornn and Sion were even for the whole match despite the ganks 💀 usually you’d want the other toplaner to fall behind so you can open up the game through Ornn but that wasn’t possible

​@@lighting7508u should consider the chip damage to turret cause ornn didn't proxy, and sion getting krugs plus annie roam top wasting time for nothing, this little things accumulate to bot winning and ahri roam bot lane with 4 v 2/3 advantage.

Bauss already said it himself, the way u beat proxy champ is u have to match the proxy itself, thats why if u watch or remember his video, he got outmatch/equal by garen and singed proxy, except renekton cause renek just broken at the moment and dont have to proxy lol 😅

ornn doesn't have the clear speed for proxying; the right play for the team would've been for them to allow ornn to scale naturally without ganking and just play for other lanes ganking ornn isn't too beneficial esp against baus

Lol, how did Baus get perma ganked top when Bel barely ganked him with Ornn once 12 minutes into the game? Meanwhile, the Shaco was 8/1/3, killing mid and mostly bot lane regardless of when Bel wasn't top. This was definitely a team gap since the ezreal 1/3 with a thresh going 4/5 so early into the game. It's no wonder the Ornn was useless later on since there was nothing he could do to prevent his team from losing that badly. This game was decided through jungle.

Baus has a 9 CS lead, got a shutdown and more plates, but is otherwise basically just hanging with Ornn. Every other lane is about even, except ADC has a bit more assist/kill gold, but both ADCs have died thrice and have negative KD. At like 10:20 Belveth ganks, and then sticks around and walls Baus. Shaco uses the fact that Belveth is showing to gank botlane and gets a double kill. Sion is still 9 CS ahead, and still has the same plate lead. Bel'Veth ganks top again at 12:06, and forces out Ahri TP. This gets Ahri a plate, and a kill, as they kill Baus again. It also forces Ornn to back. Because Veth is off the map, botlane pushes up super far and takes plates. Ornn burns TP to get a wave and all these ganks have now closed the gap! Baus now only has... a 3 cs lead. All of that for 6 CS. A minute or two later, and their team is forced to give Drake at this point. Sion will have TP probably soon, botlane is behind from the earlier Shaco pressure, and Ahri picked up veth and the plate so she's ahead too, they have to give. 14:10, now Bel'Veth and Annie three man top, this sacrifices a massive wave and mid tower AND bot tower because no one was defending it from Jinx. Sion is now back to a 10 CS lead. (if they didn't three man, Sion kills Ornn and takes tower) Top rotates mid to try and stop the bleeding, Sion gets back to lane and takes tower anyway at 15:30. Veth ganks Baus AGAIN. Baus gets the cannon wave and ghosts out, losing only a summs and having to be chunked. At 16:25, Veth goes top to secure a tower in case Sion comes back, gets it, and then heralds the T2. Meanwhile Sion ults down mid which secures a drake and 2 kills. Ornn has to TP back to stop the bleeding or Jinx takes the t2 and it was truly all for naught. Veth and Shaco mutually gank top at 15:30 or so, Sion dies, and Shaco does nothing but chunk Ornn. Bad for blue team. Then at 20:25, the big fight breaks out ahead of Baus killing Annie and taking a tower. Red team loses this fight hard and it basically seals the game. Overall, they definitely overganked top, attempting 5 ganks and one herald. Of these, they basically got nothing but one kill out of half of them, and typically only during three mans.
