I have same opinion .R10 was most skilled player more than Cr7 and Messi .But his peak was to short due his loves to party nightlife and that was the difference between him and Messi and CR7 when they took over world for about 17 years . Ronaldinho choked in the World Cup when it was his time to lead. Without R9 Ronaldinho wouldn’t have had a World Cup. Neymar was carrying Brazil at the 2014 world cups before the back injury. Imagine if Neymar had A r9 level teammate.

Magical, mesmerizing, entertaining, divine, and hands down the best personality of any football player, happy-go-lucky mischievous yet respectful. He was a wonder and a spectacle to behold.

I'm with neymar here. Yeah ronnie is the better player but it's not about who's better here it's about who underachieved more and that's neymar. Ronnie won everything and of course he could have won those couple of more times but neymar won nothing. Nothing but 1 cl yet everyone expected him to be successor to CR7 and Messi. And he totally hat the talent to do it. But he thow everything away with his attitude, work ethic etc. So to conclude we all expected both of them to win trophies and balon dors multiple times but only ronnie could achieve that but only once. The mentality that made Ronaldinho so magical was precisely why he could only sustain that level for so long. He was about joy and creativity, not effectiveness (although his creativity was exceptionally effective in his prime). If he had the mindset of Cristiano, he might have won more but he would not have given us the joy. That's why he was truly loved as a player. He was a playboy with a carefree attitude who won everything. Once he had achieved that, there were no more world's to conquer and so he did not need to apply himself as much. There was nothing left to prove. THAT goal vs Chelsea is perhaps my favourite of all time.

How many players dominated world football for more than 5 years before 2010? Exactly, not too many. Ronaldinho achieved a lot, really a lot. Calling him out for under achievement compared to Neymar is a slap in a lot of faces

Ronaldinho is the only talent we've ever seen who not only could have matched Messi and Ronaldo but maybe eclipsed them. It was the life style that stopped him not a natural inability. If you say he had the ability to do what Messi and R7 done, it's an under achievement to not have done it.

Ronaldinho grossly underachieved considering his talent. He's in the same breath as some of the greatest talents ever to play football, unlike Neymar. Neymar was great but was never in the same breath as R9, Maradona, R7, or M10. R7 and M10 won a lot of trophies, and so should have Ronaldinho but he failed to get it together. So to corroborate what the above speaker just said, Ronaldinho did not achieve as much as he could have.

My point is to take a step back and look at Ronaldinho without the expectation of dominating for more than 10 years. And by that standard Ronaldinho had a masterful career. He single-handedly revived Barcelona from mediocrity to winning trophies again, he became world champion, he won the ballon d’or, two world footballer of the year awards in a row and many other trophies and awards. Show me how many footballers had that success apart from Messi and Cronaldo? Exactly, and that’s my point. You cannot take these two as your standard and compare everyone against them.

Had Dinho been similar to CR7 in conduct, Dinho would have won 4-5 more Balon D’ Ors. Dinho was the best I’ve ever seen, he had the world watching the beautiful game.

Dinho loved to party. Like LOVED to party. He got let go of at PSG because homie was so goddamned good but would stay partying and show up late/hungover. Had he been a player of conduct he would’ve been insane.

Actually agree with this. For all he won, Ronaldinho was an incredible player for a few seasons but his career really fizzled out. He was genuinely a joy to watch when he was at Barcelona.

Anyone who has tried out skills or flair moves in local games or friendlies knows the difficulty of reproducing it in proper games, let alone a professional league where the coaches and your teammates are going to massacre you even if your opponents didn't. When you have attained a level where not only are those moves doable against the highest level opponents, but to have everyone register and accept that it's part of your game and you translate it to on-field success, that's the highest form of art meeting sports that can happen, and Ronaldinho achieved that
