SI nos dejan. it's a ranchero bolero, by the Mexican composer José Alfredo Jiménez, it is one of the most typical songs in his repertoire and one of his most widely performed compositions.

Jajajaja no no no, esa canción no es original de la reina del sur!!! Y Luis miguel la cantó antes que esa telenovela. Fue compuesta por José Alfredo Jiménez, mexicano, en 1967, y desde entonces forma parte del folklore mexicano, siendo interpretada por muchísimos artistas! Saludos

Jose Alfredo Jimenez was the first one to compose the song. He may have been the first to sing it. But I am not certain.
