I just don’t understand how they didn’t have the budget. Bo3 zombies was EXTREMELY successful and zombies chronicles was the most purchased DLC of all time, so I just can’t wrap my head around why the hell bo4 was so under-funded

@@peaceful6571 Sledgehammer and Raven were having trouble deciding what the next cod was going to be. So Activision made sledgehammer a supporting developer and gave the development to Treyarch, their funding was cut for BO4 after or during the Grand Heist operation so they could put their resources on the new cod aka Cold War

Victus is supposed to be a Latin term for, “the survivors”. This is a label they earn after the Moon Easter egg ravages Earth and creates the world where we see in Tranzit where they are literally (potentially the only) some of the only remaining survivors of the entire human race. Also noteworthy is how after the events of Buried, it is assumed that maxis transcended into the aether and used its power to destroy what was left of the world, after which point they literally are officially the only 4 survivors of their world and only managed to escape across a fracture in reality and into the Alcatraz pocket dimension due to the manipulation and protection of various other Richtofens that brought them into their timelines

The people who hated them jumped on the hate bandwagon for Tranzit and Die Rise. Now most have ascended and realized how amazing they are. Too bad they haven’t gotten much chances to shine. Tranzit was annoying, Die Rise was suicidal, Buried was easy, and Tag Der Toten was dissapointing (at least in an objective sense; I like all those maps).

Have you seen the Cold War Zombies reveal. Yes it is the end of Ultimus and Primis, but not the entire Aether story. If they really want to bring them back, trust me, they will.

No. Treyarch had one ending planned for tag der toten, which they could not afford to do because activision cut the budget in order to make cold war, so they improvised this mess. Some sources say they even had plans to do a super easter egg in tranzit die rise and buried remakes. It was going to be amazing. Tag der toten intro cutscene and alpha omega outro cutscene are a mess because they are a mix between what they had planned and what they ended up with. You see samantha says in Alpha omega they are going to fight the great war, then go to the house to kill monty and burn it all to the ground, same thing said nikolai in classified outro. We also see some references to the real ending in classified walls, which say "Agartha shall burn and they will be to blame". It was all cancelled. This zombie richtofen thing was cancelled too because it was part of the super easter egg alternate ending, yet we see him in this intro. It's all a mess. The Aether storyline ending was going to be such an epic thing. Neither treyarch devs nor us deserved this trash. I gather eternal hatred towards activision for what they have done.

Revelations continued the cycle of The Great War to Revelations. Bo4 was breaking that cycle and resetting the universe. Cold War is that new Universe

I don't think it makes sense. Tag took place before Call of The Dead. It took place in 1965 while Call of The Dead took place in 2011.
