I would like to see all the solids in the Roto Grip line up against each other. Gem, Helios, Hustle Camo. It would give us a feel of the differences of the different level of balls from the HP-4 through the HP-1 categories.

I really appreciate this review. I have the hyped hybrid and actually love it. Was looking to decide on a new ball and after this review it made up my mind on this. You throw the ball almost identical to my game so you sold me. Can’t wait to get it drilled and on the lane.

Visited my pro shop today as I needed something in between my Pitch Black and Nova especially on the tournament patters and he recommended this ball. After reviewing this video I’m really looking forward in adding it to my arsenal. Thanks Louis for all your reviews.

This ball is amazing! I just finished my first league set with it and shot 213, 279, 268! I would highly recommend this ball if you like a nice smooth controllable ball. Thanks again Luis for the review.

What the hell Lou! What-the-hell. This ball looked amazing! Another incredible ball from Roto Grip. I am stunned. I think I would like to see it compared to the Pro Motion. Since the PM is very strong, smooth and continuous, a comparison might tell me a lot about the performance of the Hyped.

You should do a 3 ball review with the Hyped Solid and the IQ Tour Solid and the IQ Tour Nano Pearl. Would definitely help me figure out what ball I should get next for my arsenal! Love the videos luis

I'm an older guy with arthritis in my wrists and I had to drop down to an 11lb ball. I tried a 12lb ball and I feel like I'm border line so I'm going to try the 11lb to see if that helps. Will the Hustle USA, Hyped Solid,and the Duo in 11lbs still get me some hooking action on the lane even though they only have the Puck core?

Reminds me of the mvp line. The cover didn’t always have the traction but when it did, you could play all seven arrows with it. Nice vid. I just bought a bunch of stuff through Luke’s link. I’m putting one in trough you’d next.

Yes, I got the MVP Attitude. It's a hybrid, but out of box it comes at 3000g. Very good ball, I think the H solid would be a great replacement replacement, when my MVP goes south.

The natural comparison would be Hyped Solid vs Hustle Camo. The Camo is a terrific ball in the later frames.

Looks good. I’m pretty slow myself, low revs, and my Burner Solid gets a ton of traction on my house shot. Should I try a pearl ball next to get a little farther down the lane before it breaks?

Cover designators mean nothing. Say it with me... A UC2 is not going to be what you want just because it's 'a pearl'. Just look for 'a weaker ball', not 'a pearl'

@@Popsplace42 there isn't actually a lot of good stuff weaker than a burner. Maybe a sneak attack, or electrify pearl, if you can find one

Luis, what kind of joggers are you wearing, I need some winter attire like those. Ball looks good, so many choices these days to compare, hit the my Wolverine Dark Moss with step 2 compound to give it 5 feet or so of extra length and its performing like a wolf during the full moon! (pun intended)

My current bag is: hyroad, burner solid, punch out which is an older medium reactive pearl from storm. Would you recommend the hyped solid as an addition? Mostly a house bowler.

As a sidebar, believe it or not you might like the hyped hybrid as a punch out replacement when the time comes. I was looking for one for a long time because I adored my old punch out, the HH has done nicely for me.

@@djisurfli the one I have is still going pretty strong because it was my dad's and he didn't like it so he gave it to me and I only use it when the lane is completely burned up and being a lefty that doesn't happen often so it only has like maybe 30-50 games on it

I'm actually intrigued by that ball two things, can I ask what your average ball speed is when your out around 18, and for me that ball reminds me of my Phase 2 as far as motion down the lane. I play deep with the phase 2 and my biggest issue is my speed so with my Reps if I'm slow I pay with a splt. But for me it may be a bit weaker then the phase 2 but has that Same smooth motion. Damit another ball to think about. I'm gonna need a 3rd job to pay for all of them lol.

I was hyped for the USA, but not really any of the hyped balls. As a speed dominate bowler there's not much a need for lower end balls. I just liked the USA because it's literally America on a ball

Just can't look at an ugly ball although with my revs it's all the same color down the lane I still know it's ugly lol.... RST x3 is same, even Darren Tang mentioned the ugliness 😅. I'm probably the biggest fan of the Hustle line there is I can't get past the ugly. 5 INKS, 3 PBRs, 3 WINES plus my daughter, son amd wife have all had the ones listed above. I bet we have 20+ in the house haha

Over the years I never heard any reviewer or SPI staffer refer to the IQ Tour Solid as being a weak ball. You first stated the Hyped solid was in your opinion a stronger IQ Tour, but then later you stated the Hyped Solid is a weak ball which was looking good because of the high friction at Sam's. So, if it's stronger than IQ, but overall a weak ball, then by what you stated it makes the IQ even weaker, which again I never heard anyone says that about the IQ. I'm confused, please clarify. Luis, you're entitled to your opinion, but I disagree that the IQ Tour Solid is classified as a weak ball. I base that on personal performance. I remember you previously responded that the Electrify GO was a strong ball. Well, the GO utilizes the Rector cover which is weaker than the R2S cover on the IQ. Reg

Please give us a true transition, start as far right as ball/lane will allow and move left only when needed you going left and slowing it down does not give a true read of the transition and you having an opinion its not good from the left is misleading as lane is not developed to handle it I bowled with a Hustle Camo at 2000 for 15 games yesterday to prove my thought and the ball work great even at 4th arrow in game 15. In fact there aren't many Symmetrical balls you can't start with and finish with on a typical house shot.
