She sounds so much more powerful live and her presence on stage is magical and I have been following great female singers since the late 60's. She is among the best I have ever listened to.

I'm sorry but I love this woman,( band is awsome too) I never tire of their music, I've been a fan now for almost 5 years now, and take a break here and now, but everytime I comeback I love them even more than the last time.

man, she is beautifiul and she has a great voice. man with a woman like her, you wouldn't need a thing in the world, just looking in her eyes and you would find everything you need. and with her voice you would have everything you want.

To the people arguing about Amy Lee and Cristina, both are great! Cristina has some more control over her vocals and a better technique but Amy is awesome too and her voice is very unique. On acoustic sets both sound flawless and I love both so lets just stop hating allright?

+MadMike41 Amy Lee sings perfect on stage and on CDs. She controls her voice perfectly and sing the same way all the time. Well, Christina cant sing live. It seems like she cannot control her voice and sometimes it sounds like a really bad karaoke singin beein drunk in a pub. I'm sorry, but this is the way I see it after watching many videos from live singin by her.

+Lisbeth Corvus Plese stop. This is a pointless discussion. Amy had lots of bad performances also that are all over youtube. No one can sing cd quality live. No one is perfect. Can't we just agree that there are many talented women in the gerne and they kick ass in what they do in their own way ;)

But Amy can do :) You can have a bad day, of course. But, sorry, I was so disapointed listening to Cristina live performances. It sounds like she is forcing herself to sing, she's gettin tired singin. And it means she has a bad technique. Od CD she sounds totally different and it means something, right? :) I was just surprised that you wrote that Cristina cintrols her voice more than Amy. Nope, she cant do it at all :)

Lisbeth Corvus I feel like what you're saying is more the case with Amy. Sure she's a great singer and I adore her, but her technique is not great and in many lives she pushes and struggles to belt out her high notes of the newest album. Sure she's gotten better and she's always flawless on acoustics but I haven't seen Cristina having such problems. Of course, this could be because I have watched tens if not hundreds of Evanescence lives compared to maybe 10-20 of Lacuna Coil.

Firsrt of all....i dont think that amy would have reached where she is if she hadnt had talent... so what you said about no talent etc, i dont think you are right.. and i cant understand why everybody keeps comparing Evanescence to Lacuna Coil... the video was put just to be watched..i dont think it asks somewhere to compare it to amy..

hmm watching them do this live makes me wonder how many different ways there are to play this song. i wonder what tuning they play it in, i can play it in standard, i doubt whether its accoustic or not makes a difference. not a fan of accoustics, they bore me, but this is good

Dude's problem is that he tries to yell too much. He sounds good when he sings and should do it more often. For what it's worth, I'm a fan of both Lacuna Coil and Evanescence.

Dude seriously, can everyone stop thinking with their dicks for a second? It's not fair to cut down Andrea the way that so many people do. He was origanally the only singer, Cristina started out as a session singer for them. She joined because they liked they way her AND Andrea's voices complimented each other. Stop acting like you've never seen a girl before.

uhm guys of course Cristina and Amy are both GREAT singers. (btw, whatever you say, Amy Lee still has a great voice) but you all have got to admit one thing - CRISITINA would be NOWHERE without Lacuna Coil. For me, Lacuna Coil is not about Cristina, it's about those amazing songs (especially the Unleashed Memories album) that Cristina DID NOT WRITE. so stfu. and also, stop hating on Andrea. LC wouldn't be here without him.

amy isnt where she is because of her looks lol christina is a lot hotter than amy but they are both amazing live. amy has been singing since she was a kid have you ever seen one of her high school chorus songs? or one of the songs she recorded with her church before she was famous she sounds the same and amazing and churches and high schools dont have auto tune or computer voice enhancements

Actually Amy Lee's voice isn't that bad. It's pretty good. However, I'm not cancelling out the fact that Cristina voice is good.

@Jakalblack well, yeah i like Evanescence, but they seem very unprofesional (sp?), unconsistant, and in my opinion Lacuna Coil seem more diverse musically. I really don't see EV putting any albums anytime soon, and if they did i doubt it would be to the standards of Fallen or Open Door, they still seem like they have a lot of unsolved problems, this sort of seems selfish, and unfair to the fans in my opinion.

This is my overall point... Amy Lee is NOT good enough. She is where she is because of her looks, and computer enhanced vocals. Cristina could be HIDEOUS and still be where she is today based only on her talent.

I understand you like them and are all into them and shit, but you need to acknowledge the FACT that Amy Lee's vocals live are mediocre at best.
