To me the most fragile age of a kid is 18-22 because sometimes you get trapped feeling like a loser because you havent found yourself yet. To all the kids this age that dont know who you are yet, keep your head up. You WILL find your calling. You ARE a badass PERIOD 💪💪💪

Bro wtf. I went to college with Luke, My roommate was on the rugby team with him. I cannot express how odd it is that Luke is a superstar now. He was just an average dude. I’ll never get used to seeing him all over my feeds now, I’ll always picture him as the guy I knew from college. Super proud of all his success! He definitely deserves it!

I have 2 really nice guitars... An electric and an acoustic and haven't touched them in 10 years. I need to get back into it.

When I was 21 I was in the Army. Really thought I was going places. Then I got hit by an IED in Bagdad, received a brain injury, got dischatged, and I've been fighting with the VA ever since. That's been 20 years ago. I've been a child support slave the majority of my adult life, got two college degrees and can't make any money. I feel worthless most of the time. My life sucks now. Just goes to show that whatever you're doing in your early 20s isn't necessarily a good indicator of how your life will turn out.

I started playing drums 32yrs ago & during that time I've gone through periods that have lasted years without touching a drum set & gone back to it & been right back in form after a week or two, I've realized that most of it's the will to play & express yourself & practice is good but that's just polishing something, if the foundation, the need to express one's self is strong enough nothing can stop it

Sounds like me, but I knew I was going nowhere at 18. Go to a trade school or learn a skill in the military, something that translates to the civilian job market. I'm 40 now, make bank as a contractor, and I've traveled the world. Make a move my guy...

This is why parents should listen and pay attention to their children and you'll find out what it is they want to do and not force them into doing something they don't want to do so they don't end up doing it and then that is the conditioning that they have all the way through life. When we were going thru divorce, i got my son a guitar to really just have a healthy way to get his anger out. Now he has a band, travels to japan to play, all exciting stuff. I didnt know at the time if it would help. 15 yrs later happy content and still playing guitar.....

Plus, its hard to get started. Guitar is not easy like people think. Glad he picked it back up.

I trained in and taught martial arts for over a decade and I was excited for the opportunity now that we have kids to teach them. They really aren’t interested. At first I was sad but I had to remind myself they are their own people and have their own interests. I didn’t want to force them and have them hate it like some students I had. Their parents made them come to class despite how much they didn’t want to
