I'm no good at golf either. So my brother-in-law said we are just over there which was the distance from his house on 10 acres. So my turn to hit the ball and I smack the shit out of it. It's a family reunion and all my aunts and mother are sitting so far away from where we are hitting and the ball just kept going and smacks a tree they are all sitting under. Well look we all think about losing weight when we start to get older it's nothing new for anyone when you find yourself stressed out during all this stuff you just got to make time for yourself you like fishing go out by yourself and go fishing and think about all the things that it's happening in your life and I'm just trying to put everything in its place where you think it should be if you want to lose weight we've all done it we all start getting late and everything when we start drinking beer and having a good time or we eat a lot after we drink and then you know you get older and you get older and then next thing you're not you know you're trying to cut your calories down and trying to do better live a better life so that you'll be alive for your kids cuz you want to be there for your kids you don't want to have a heart attack and end up not being there for your kids so you got a lot of things go through people's minds and so you just got to put everything in its place I'm put your mind to something that's going to make you happy during all of this that's happening and one good thing is there's an old saying you know if the wife isn't happy you're not going to be happy so if you make the wife happy then you will always be happy and then if you're playing golf and it's taking you off it's really getting your ego big time then turn the ego thing around and challenge your friends to go hunting and fishing with you and see how they all do and then you won't feel so bad everything will be like well you know at least they know I'm good at something I may not be good at golf and they may say well we're not good at this either but they may still go fishing and hunting with you on occasions and you know you got to stop your life somewhere and do something you like to do for yourself in order for your life to go a little smoother this is just advice from a 53-year-old woman I've been there and done all that I know what it's like so I wish you all the luck and I'm sure that your friends would find it interesting to learn how to hunt and fish if they don't know how to do that have a campfire sit around the fire and b******* and have a really good time and isn't that what life is all about just having a good time putting your seriousness aside for a day or two and just having a good time if you do that at least once a month you or even twice a month because when things start to get to you that's when you need to go and have a good time lift all that stress and anger off of you and you'll start to feel much better and if you're having problems with the wife like I said all you got to do is make her happy and keep her happy and your life will be just fine and one more thing before I shut my face is that you and your wife need to take the time to be together intimately you know not not like making love or anything but I'm talking about like spending a romantic day or something together letting her know how you feel about her all of that stuff and getting your flowers and whip out a freaking blanket out onto the grass and lay it lay there together and just talk and have fun together whatever you know you do and you have to take time out for the wife too because when the wife starts having kids she's going to be one miserable lady no not all women are miserable being pregnant having kids but the stress of being around kids all the time and stuff like that and you being gone all the time and all that stuff right so you got to take the time out to spend a little time with your wife to let her know how much you still love her and everything else like I said a happy wife a happy happy life and so then you got to think about when your kids get older you won't have much time to spend together anymore you see so you just have to find time for your wife every once in awhile to let her know how much you'll ever and the same with your kids you don't want your kids growing up saying well my dad was on the road all the time he never paid much attention to us it was just on the road so if you want to prevent that from happening invite to take your kids with you you know when they're old enough to take care of themselves know when they become teenagers and stuff invite him to come with you spend a little time you know with your kids like doing family things together every once in awhile you do something with the family and you look for what your son and daughters interests are in life and boost them up and let him know that you're happy about what it is that they want to do when they grow up but that's about all I could really say as far as that goes but your life can be really great and less stressful when you find yourself making time for your family and your wife everybody's happy and so are you and that you get to take time for yourself and go fishing or do something that you really like to do but most of all you got to make time for yourself for your family for your wife otherwise everything will come crashing down on you and then you won't know what to do once it all bottles up and bunches up together to where you just don't know what to do you don't want that to happen so you're going to have a wonderful great life don't let things bother you so much take time for your family your wife and your kids and for yourself a lot of people don't do this and that's why they're so angry and mad all the time about everything that's why Mom and Daddy fight so much and then when the kids come they're like oh my God you know this baby cries all night long I don't get no sleep and my husband's not doing anything to help me he's always gone and blah blah blah and so just remember you can make your life really great take the stress out of your life don't let things get to you step back and look at your life and tell yourself okay how can I fix all this and then when you fix it all everything's running smoothly now there's always going to be a bump in the road but you just worry about that so anyway I'll shut up now I won't say no more but just remember what I said okay

Oh and one more thing Luke you believe in Jesus Christ right always make sure that you invite Jesus Christ and all your problems talk to him and all that stuff that's what I do I have OCD too I've never been diagnosed with it because I've never been to a place to be diagnosed but I know I got a CD OCD you will do just fine it just takes a little getting used to once you get used to it then it becomes easier and easier every day everybody's a little uneasy when they're going to have children and all that but it'll all work out if you get overwhelmed go take a walk just tell everybody I got to go take a walk I need to clear my head even if you have to call somebody to come and watch your kids while you and your wife go take a walk together and talk cuz your wife is your rock she's the one that you lean on she's the one that encourages you and she's the one that basically does everything because women are strong that away so you will be okay Luke everybody goes through this but a lot of things on your mind all that but you're going to be just fine we've all been through it we don't know how we're going to react or how we're going to get through stuff it all happens naturally believe me everything will happen naturally you'll get used to it and it won't be such a bad thing and he won't worry as much of course you'll worry about your kids when you're on the road and I'm sure you worry about your wife when you're on the road but like I said you just need to take a little time for yourself a little time with the wife and a little time having family time with your family as they grow and then your music career and all that will blend right in with everything and you'll be just fine I'll be praying for you you're going to be okay really you will be I mean that with all my heart

Sad how Luke feels about his body when he has so much to offer the world. Like most overweight people he probably has insulin resistance which means his body partitions fuel inappropriately putting more of it into storage than it should. He may also have other endocrine issues like hypothyroidism or cortisol abnormalities. He may be gluten sensitive too. It would be great if he could go see a functional medicine doctor who could look at all of this. Sorting out hormones is a much more sustainable way to lose weight than dieting.
