I've wanted to cosplay as Luke Skywalker since I started cosplaying lol. I finally finished my Bespin Luke which is my favorite costume that Luke wears in the films. I heavily weathered everything to get it as accurate as I could! I'll try and link my resources below! THANKS FOR WATCHING!

Can't believe you did this to an ANOVOS pants and jacket, considering how much money they cost. However, you did a really great job with it, and it looks pretty screen accurate! Let's face it, you are an original! 👍😁👍

Haha thank you! Yeah I was splurging on my costumes back in the day. I wanted to recreate the look of the outfit from my favorite scene though, and lets face it, battle damage just looks awesome!

@@Luke101 it's extremely unique what you have done. Personally I love it. I just got a hold of a brand new never used complete Han Solo bespin anovos costume. I even got a hold of a unused anovos Han Solo holster. I also have the Luke Skywalker jacket.... But I'm not going to battle damage it. Lol you did a great job, and you're my hero.

EXCELLENT job.Did you also know that on the stunt suit,the jacket is velcroed to the pants for the flip scenes?

Tip: For the lightsaber, line up the grip and the kobold D-Ring to the Graflex clamp just like it is from the movie prop (it's accurate)

Awesome video! Just ordered one of the jackets (size small) from Anovos. How long was the shipping time from them? Also, how's the movement in the arms and shoulders? I'm really hoping the jacket I get has that crisp military look in the shoulders that's in the movie. (I may have to add shoulder pads, but I'm hoping the shoulders are long enough where they have the same look as in the film.)

So I have been wanting to do this very same costume for awhile now, when it comes to the boots my feet are just slightly over 10 inches, will they still fit? And another issue for me is money, I just bought the Musterbrand version of the jacket. I hadn't realized until it was too late that it is too long and to puffy to work for the costume. Now I do not have a lot of money left and I am trying to figure out if I can still figure this costume out or should I just bail and fall back onto the Dagobah training outfit instead?

When you're wearing it, the "open" parts of the ankle look too squished down. Wonder how one would fix that. Still, it's pretty killer.

what sound board are you working with on this? A crystal focus or crystal shard?? Epic costume man gotta get mine as well as the graflex from empire. I got my Luke hero on the way and after that the V2 from solos hold soon.

Blood is only a mess up as Lightsabers instantly Cauterize Wounds they make as this was the first literal wounding from Lightsabers there was blood but most of these aren't from Lightsaber cuts, also in the movie he rarely wears the jacket on Dagobah.

Up dude have you seen starwars!? In A New Hope Obi-Wan cuts off an aliens arm in the cantina and there is tons of blood!

I've seen that scene but that was before the full clarification of how the wield a Lightsaber if you haven't seen the video of it's origin concept then please look it up for Episode 4 must have both hands when wielding it at all times, then changed in Episode 5 and when Luke's Hand was cut off then it was instantly cauterized, also that was his full arm and the guy was an alien so please don't use Episode 4 as an Example as that's where stuff the being originated and Lore Wise in Both Legends and Cannon Lightsabers instant Cauterize wounds. (Plus these movies can't actually show blood Episode 4 A New Hope is an exception either by time of Creation or overlooked either way the full effect of the Lightsaber wasn't fleshed out in it's creation as show when Darth Vader uses his Lightsaber with one hand at the start of the duel with Luke in Episode 5)

The blood is from Luke getting shit thrown at him, and he wears it enough for it to get dirty
