Absolutely, as Luke ages and learns, he becomes much more calm & gentile, even though he's been gentile ever since we've been introduced to him. He's very diplomatic. The warrior inside of Luke only comes out when he's pressed. Green, not blue.

I definitely agree with you. I was about to write something similar. Luke for the most part viewed the way of the galaxy thru the training of a consular. Whether it was canon or legend, his true stance in the force has always been one of a consular to me. There were quite a bit of badass consulars you wouldn't want to face in combat...Yoda, Qui Gon, Kit Fisto, Depa Balliba who was the only Jedi that Mace taught the form Vaapad, Luminara all formidable. And maybe except for Luminara, the other aforementioned were headstrong in their youth.

Yoda's lightsaber is much smaller, it's what they call a lightsaber-shoto. It's the same as the short one that Ashoka uses.

He was considered THE master of Soresu by many in the jedi council because he had such a perfection of that style of combat. there is only 1 set of clear crystals in canon, & they're crystals which have been bled out prior to being healed, that would rather strongly indicate clear is not something which is a base state but a more changed & aged state, returning to peace after pain, rather than being a young living crystal filled with colour

That's nonsense. When he beat Vader, it was all darkside. When dropped his lightsaber, it was all lightside. He decided to learn dark side, when Palpatine returned, to defeat darkness from within. That failed miserably and he turned into Palpatine's puppet, until Leia brought him back. And it haunted Luke for many years ahead. Lightside is the balance, darkside is chaos. Luke beat Palpatine in all instances, when he embraced lightside fully.

I belive in the movie the idea was that while the dark side might beat a person the light side could change a person without tapping into the dark side luke wouldn't of beaten vader but without the light side anakin wouldn't of been saved from his fate

Often it just means not following old flawed Jedi code. Grey Jedi would marry, train adult people, have attachment but with all that they are still firmly on the light path. No force user experienced oneness with the force by drawing on light and dark, it has always been about Harmon, piece and positive emotions, there is never even a hint of anger or other negative emotions. Also, great Jedi can be described as transcending light and dark, there is only the force, this state again has 0 association with darkside.

In KOTOR the crystals already had a set color and the color represented what style you went for (but of course you could change it later on). The idea they are "living" is a little silly to me. Also, shouldn't the lightsaber color change if you picked up a different lightsaber? In Episode 2, one of the extra lightsabers given to Anakin and Obi-Wan was green in color (forget which one got the green one). Shouldn't it change to blue immediately?

I missed your comment, but I just said this myself essentially. I actually have a 'prerelease' rip of AOTC from back then where the Jedi sabers are a bunch of different colors (yellows, oranges, greens, teals, etc) instead of only blue/green in the final movie. I'm assuming this copy I have was before SLJ's power move on lightsaber color and why there are only blue, green, and the one true purple in the final cut. I think at the time I got it about a month before release, I wish I knew where it was now.

Green is supposed to indicate those strong in the force that devote themselves to its study at least in legends. In canon they certainly have to be strong in the force, but since Anakin is blue it has to be something like the color of their soul, not just how strong they are in the force.

Actually color means jack, especially in the EU, and force user could choose their own color, by using a gem like say a ruby, or emerald for the color. Read 'I Jedi' or the 'Jedi Academy' Trilogy

In Legends colors do mean different things such as in KOTOR when you choose your path, but later you can change that color just like in the original canon.

You do know that Legends refers to anything that's not canon since Disney bought Star Wars, right? So you can't say Legends is canon because it's not just one thing. Star Wars The Force Unleashed and The Force Unleashed II, for example, are both Legends and they can never be considered canon. Darth Vader never trained a boy named Galen Marek, Shaak Ti never died in Felucia, etc.

I know lol he's talking about a movie that was way before what is now current canon. Original canon was never that way, lightsabers did mean different things eventually and still is that way in Legends such as KOTOR, but there was no such thing as "bleeding".

Yep, this is exactly why you don't see Obi-Wan or Luke ignite their sabers on Tatooine except while indoors. (Obi-Wan's hut, and the Mos Eisley cantina). The lore came well after the fact.

It's my opinion and there is nothing you can do about it or change how I will feel about Disney owning Star Wars, they complete messed it up, especially the LTJ and if you can't see the Identity politics in it then you are blind.
