he's not himself in part 1 (eg: the brothel scene and being flirty with ladies) bcs hes trying to fit into the society after he went back travelling (as we can see how he kinda awkward to socialize with his peers, how he actually struggling with their beliefs etc).. in s1 and s2 we always see sweet, soft boy colin as violet says, colin is her most sensitive child. its all his shield and defense, its not a real him imo

Even in season 3 he's still upset about what happened to Marina. I'm like why are we still hearing about her from Colin. I need that energy and passion from him for Penelope.
