I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the look of the rooms! I was first skeptical about how it would look, but the final look is amazing. It's an old house with lots of history behind it, so it seems logical to paint it with according colours. I laughed out loud when Zara explained that Luke would change things around just as her mother did with the Christmas tree decorations 🤣🤣🤣 She is so funny! Well done Zara! You've done a great job both vlogging and decorating ❤ Have a great Sunday!

Gorgeous!! ❤❤❤ Just a tip, do the walls first then doors, skirting etc to prevent those tiny paint splashes on the darker colours etc 😊

I’m a fan of a neutral palette for decorating but I do LOVE those 2 rooms. They look absolutely stunning and Zara did a lovely job of styling them. That library is pure goals 📚

Love the colours! Instead of changing the lounge door completely you can get a carpenter/glazier to remove the 2 top panels and replace with glass. We did it in an older property and were really happy with the result x

Simply gorgeous, all colors compliment one another and create a lovely cozy and relaxing space to chill and just be. You both have done a sterling job and should be proud of your achievement! I agree that the fire surround would look even better painted blue to match the display shelving and would add more balance and a lovely focal point to the entire wall. That red is very similar to the colour we painted our music room. Over the years it has matured and got darker, it’s so lovely we will never change it 🤗

I was so skeptical at first, because when you were first describing your colors you planned for the rooms, I got the impression that you were going to drench all walls, ceiling and trim in color, and I thought oh goodness, what are they thinking, lol! But then I see your vision, and I like it :) I love the pops of color over the calming almond white color! It's really pretty, and it must feel amazing to have this room mostly finished! You've both worked so hard, well done :)

You home is looking rather like a show home you two should be so very proud of what you've achieved in such a short space of time and of course you have had the job overseen by the adorable Maggie lol x

I’ll be honest when you were explaining what you wanted in terms of the paint colors and where you wanted to put them I was like I don’t think so but seeing your vision come together…it’s beautiful! It turned out so nice. Luke you have impeccable taste! Very well done!

It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks Luke. This is yours and Zara’s home, so you do whatever your hearts desire. I think it looks a million dollars. The fact that you’re both learning on the job is fantastic. Because I’ve been a painter and decorator if I was to give you one small piece of advice it would be to do all the light colours first and all the cutting in. Then the dark colours. Love your interior design choices 👍🥰

Love the library! I used a color like this many years ago in my den shelving around the fireplace, had many compliments about how cozy it was and your room is going to be so warm, welcoming and cozy too! 😊 Super job you two!

1. I just loved Zara going for it with that red when you first introduced it. A woman with a mission! 2. I don’t know that I ever noticed the colored glass in the windows above and that red really made it stand out and it’s beautiful! So excited to see the excitement and changes!!

Luke it looks great... TIP!! I have written in comments so many times over the years... use the base colour over the frog tape edge to seal it. Then paint your dark colours. The base seal will stop the new dark colours bleeding under the tape... this will produce a perfect clean line. Ps. You are readers.. just group books of same authors and/or genre.

What a transformation and Zara did a great job styling the bookcases. Only thing is I think the chimney breast in the front room should be painted the same blue as it looks kind of odd and a bit disjointed being cream. It would also make the stone fireplace surround standout more as a feature if the wall was blue. Wel done to both of you for all your hard work.😊

I saw someone redo a home a few weeks ago and the wife used one of those small paint rollers. Someone asked her why she used those instead of the bigger ones and she said it was so much easier on her hands, arms and shoulders. I thought of that when I saw Zara using that big roller. Maybe she can try that in the future if she has pain from painting. Love you two, love your channel and the rooms are just amazing!
