Luke, welcome back! This is my first comment on your channel, but I know you from your past videos made in Poland. At 9:10 you said that you did not want to be the only one with a smile. Well, you are not; rest assured that seeing you back put a big smile on my face. 😃 Poland is still the same one you've come to know and love, despite the mayhem behind our eastern border, rising prices and the like. Perhaps even more so now than before; such adverse events bring the best out of the Polish soul, even if people don't smile as often as they used to in normal times. But Wawel Castle is still there, Saint Mary's Basilica and Rynek Główny are still there, your Nowy Świat (yes, 'Świat tabletów' means 'World of tablets'), Stare Miasto and Zamek Królewski are still there and standing proud, your pierogi, pączki, zapiekanki, wątróbka, schabowy, bigos are in plentiful supply and tasting as great as before, only the weather can be a bit tricky. As the Polish proverb puts it: 'w marcu jak w garncu' -> 'March is like a (boiling) pot', meaning that the weather at this time of the year can be wildly changeable; one day may be grey and cold, but the very next day may be warm with clear blue sky and plenty of sunshine, and right after that a rainy day may come, again with grey clouds in the sky and gusty wind. But I know that you are not the one who could be discouraged by trifles such as changeable weather. So enjoy your stay in Poland, have a great time and keep those videos coming brother. If you're into medieval fantastic stuff like LOTR, The Witcher, Elder Scrolls, you should definitely visit a restaurant themed around it called Wolf Pit Tavern/Tawerna Wilczy Dół. Sometimes you need to wait to get a table, but if you go Mon-Thu you should be able to eat without waiting. It's almost in the Kraków Centre.

Luke, you are a peach!, with your damn, infectious smile! Welcome back to Poland, Bro! Do a day trip to Tarnow from Krakow! Just about 1hr train ride. Small to a mid size but an intriguing city, you can wrap it up in a day including the ruins of the medieval castle on the Saint Martin Mountain. Little hike, but a breathtaking view of the city from above and if you are lucky...you can even see Tatras ...some 150km away. Damn!!! @18:25 ...You can EAT, dude! Damn! As the locals would say 'potrafisz wpierdolić'!! Polish grandmas would be proud to adopt you as their grandson so they could feed you, Bro! 😅🤣

Oh man, Luke, lova ya! I miss Poland too (really, when will other countries learn that pierogi should be available everywhere, like pizza! ;) ), I've been quite far away for a while. Will be back in spring, can't wait. Have a great stay, and thanks for "saving the hero", I was really moved. Every visit counts now! All the best!

Two things. 1. The Main Market Square is the largest medieval market square in Europe. Not in the East, not in the West, but throughout Europe. Medieval is the key word. 2. We don't smile for no reason. Don't change the foundation of our culture. :)

Haha Luke, I was in Krakow with my friends on 1st of march for a few days, think I've just about missed you. You're right I'm Polish myself and people were a little rude in stores, some restaurants, rarely smiled unless you talked to them first, then they open up. Generally we are a welcoming and peaceful country.

I used to live in the building with the tower at the start of the video. The building across from it, which now looks nicely renovated was then literally falling apart and had huge nets draped over it to prevent falling debris from hitting people on the streets.
