Hello Ermac Hotaru this is Russell from BANGLADESH 🇧🇩. Your valuable comment is really surprising for me because I didn't know that a native can't talk English fluently. Would you please like to say anything to me. Because this is first time to comment a foreigner & it's very much delightful for me. Thank you. I will be waiting eagerly.

to everybody here saying how easy it is - This is just part 1 which is always the basic introduction; consider the stress which has a really big impact and even the easiest questions seem hard; they are judged based on the vocabulary and using the right grammar, so it may not look hard, but it is quite difficult.

For the people, who say that it is very easy: Obviously, if we compare B2 and C1, the difference between these levels in Reading/Use of English and Listening will be much greater, than in Speaking. Because of that, it seems like the Speaking part in CAE quite a simple.

Questions are easy, in my opinion. But the answers are good, and what I liked most of all is the pronunciation these students have, and also they are fluently speaking.
@colorfulflop
@colorfulflop 2 жыл бұрын
the point aren't the questions, which might be just the same ones as the B1 preliminary, but the answers. It's obvious that on B1 they don't require compless answers with a wide range of vocabulary, but on C1 the examiners are definirely looking for better answers, where you speak fluently, have a good pronunciation, say many things and have a wide range of vocabulary.

I’m like you, I have a good mastery of English, however I’m socially anxious. I do think that being able to actually speak to people in the language is part of your fluency. What use is a language if you’re not going to communicate in it? Work on your social anxiety by pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and speaking to more people in your native tongue and then use that to get comfortable doing the same in the language you’re studying.

@@Antonello80s Yeahh I got a pretty good grade! They don't really care about what you _actually_ say, the only want to see if you construct the sentences properly and if you're comfortable with the language. I do think they use weird questions so the answer is more spontaneous. But still lolol

Siempre me hace un poco de gracia que en estos exámenes predomina mucho un ambiente muy formal, como si realmente en la vida real fueras por el mundo hablando de esa forma ya sea en inglés o en cualquier otro idioma jajaja

Ya jajaja. Pero supongo que el C1 está preparado para que busques un ámbito formal como universidad, trabajo... Sino, con tener un B1 ya puedes manejarte en el ámbito cotidiano, y luego vas a aprendiendo más cosas.

It just makes me realize how difficult English is to most people around the world, and we just don't know it. I was shocked when I found out there was a proficiency test for English because I'm American. I guess it makes sense though, just feels weird because the language is so natural to me.

Each language has its own language proficiency tests. It's normal. In my opinion, English is the easiest language in the world. That's why so many people can speak it
@fastlearner292

@@tsukiko8128 No it isn't 😑. So many people speak English because it's the most used language (Mandarin has the highest number of speakers but most of them are centralized in China) and because of the British colonial rule it became a National Language in many countries. You can't really have an opinion on how hard a language is, it can be determined how hard a language is (to an extent of course, since speakers of the some languages will find other language in the same family easier to understand). English definitely is one of the harder ones, and one of the more unnecessarily hard one's too. Easiest language will propably be a colang, like Esperanto.

@@fastlearner292 did you read what I wrote ? 😂 " In my opinion" means I personally think English is the easiest language. it is a logical language with simple grammar and writing. For example, Russian language seems to have the hardest grammar and Chinese language seems to have the most difficult writing. But English is easy to learn and use

@@fastlearner292I agree with the guy who says english is the easiest language in the world. Its structure is simple, the words repeat themselves, and it’s also quite easy to deal with numbers. Idk why I’m watching these videos at 2am even though I’m a native speaker But what I’ve noticed about these C1, C2 speaking tests - their answers sound a bit too robotic, like they’re reading from a script, I guess nerves play a big role in that but just my quick little observation.

Because they are not legitimately C1 English users, that's why. When you reach that level and beyond you sound very natural and you're able to express your ideas well for the most part, these guys are at best a B2 but it was to be a expected since this is not a well renowned exam like the IELTS or Cambridge exams in general
