Ghost Belle negating the Suship trap is exactly why I love this card. Is it the best handtrap you could include in a deck? No, not by a long shot. But it's so funny when she comes up at the most random times. Also, she keeps my other zombies safe from the evil pointing finger.

As someone who didn't grow up with the anime and have never watched YGO ever nor touch it until MD came out. I genuinely cannot stand DM and BEWD games, I get it's a nostalgia thing for some people but they're not even the slightest bit interesting to sit through. I love janks, but DM and BEWD are just boring imo. Play some jankier stuff that are interesting instead of your nostalgia bait plssssss

Exactly what I think. Those two decks are some of the blandest handholding braindead strategies in the game rivaling the likes of Stun Eldlich (because that one at least has you properly manage your resources, should your opponent chose to play the game out). In the manga Blamagi was supposed to be a trickster with many spells to catch opponent's off guard, so how did his deck turn "into protect the castle by clicking buttons" abomination? Blue-Eyes had an interesting theming initially with its support being presented as a cult of worshipers with temples, priests, etc, but gut quickly sidelined in favour of anime nostalgia baiting (jet imo is red-eyes level of bad). At least Rush Blue-Eyes feels like a proper Timmy deck and Rush DM just kinda throws things at you until something sticks, tho they still fumbled his trickster theming.
