Sa streetdance category sila naka-focus for many years na kasi sure win sila dahil yung movements at formations nila ay pang-streetdance talaga. The way we see it, they don’t want to go hard in the dance ritual either because they’re already hall-of-famers and have secured a huge amount of money from their previous wins, or they’re giving the spotlight of the dance ritual to the out-of-town contingents. The same thing happened to other hall-of-famers before, like Tribu Sinanduloy or Southwestern University, who, in the later part, joined Sinulog not to compete anymore but as ‘Halad,’ or a dance offering. The only difference is that Lumad Basakanon is still unbeatable in street dance, and if you’re in their position, knowing you’re the best in this category, why would you stop? Well, Lumad Basakanon is after all, the city's representative in the Sinulog that's why they can't stop.

Well, unlike Maskara, Dinagyang and other festivals na very lively ang movements, Lumad Basakanon's performace are focused on formations and graceful movements. If you noticed, few seconds palang sa streetdance performance nila, yung part na parang flying eagle na slow movement, humihiyaw ang mga tao sa likod kasi napaka-angas at lakas ng dating ng movements nila kahit sobrang bagal.
