I have seen many different versions of this tool. But this is the best so far. The sturdiness of the pole makes a very big difference. Kudos!!!!!

It's a good devise but remember not to remove snow from roofs that can handle the weight it's a great insulator =) In Finland we only remove snow from barn roofs and storage shacks like the one in the video because usually they are very old and might collapse.

Short Round interessting but you might not get too much snow if you do this.

Houses have insulation under the roof and if they don't then it's time to put some there - if you have to even cheap 'home made' works. If you don't have insulation under the roof then the heat is just melting snow and you loose all that heat you thought you were saving.

That works amazingly well. Smooth and quick. Doesn't look heavy and awkward to use at all. I would only be concerned about the rails underneath damaging the roof, perhaps using something like a wider nylon runner/blade

This guys invention is awesome. I made one similar about $60 from lowes. Toughest thing was the pole though.

This looks so easy here but try this with aluminum roof with snow stoppers to make it more difficult and no space on a yard because there is so much snow stack everywhere and different angle. I did this about for two hours and now my shoulders are so aching than ever in my life and found new muscles in my body.

Eipä onnistu läheskään yhtä hyvin aaltotiilikatolla, tasaisella peltikatolla menee kuten kuvassa tosi hyvin, samoin tasaiset huopakatteet, varsinkin jos ei ahnehdi ottamaan aivan millin tarkalleen kaikkea, eikä ole tarkoituskaan. Päinvastoin lumikerroshan on eriste tuleville koville -20- -30 asteen pakkasille, kun kylmä laskeutuu aina alaspäin.

Why not just use metal roof panels if you have that much snow? Never have to worry bout it again and lasts forever

+Bob Roberts snow still sticks, I have a metal roof on house and garage and I still need to remove it. Maybe if you have a metal roof and live in an area that doesn't get a ton of snow.

mitäs helvataa, enpä tienny että tälläsiä muutki käyttelöö saman tyyppinen viritelmä oli meilläkin muta pari kertaa leveämpi pressusta puusta metallitangosta ja tais olla joku teränomainen siin viel sit kii.. hyvin kahden talon lumet lähti :) kätevä vekotin
