@@CleverPhotographer I know layers are JPEG’s. I guess anyone could make them. But how and are there tricks. I have seen videos where the artist uses plain gray or orange layers. I would like those, bit overall guidance one there creation. Your video on skies was great. I don’t believe in purchasing skies, rather I am building my own library of skies where I shot.

Thank you as always for these videos. I do have a question.....How does the Highlights/Shadows adjustment differ from the Blacks/Whites adjustment ? Thanks again.

Hi Tony 👋 thank you for your comment and your excellent question 👍 To understand the difference between the two sets of sliders, it's good to have at least a basic understanding of the Photography Histogram. The Black (darkest parts) & Whites (brightest parts) control the borders and extreme sides of the histogram. The Shadows and Highlights control everything that is between. The highlights - the right (bright) part and the Shadows - the left (dark) part of the histogram. It's easier the explain it when you look at the histogram and push the sliders, but I hope this helps.

@@CleverPhotographer Thank you I believe I got it....the Blacks/Whites slider sets the light and dark limits and the Highlights/Shadows slider controls the information between the mid-tone to those dark and light limits. At least I hope I got it.

Where are assets stored in Neo and can we store all of our assets in the same location as Neo stores them so all our assets (LUTs, presets, overlays etc.) are available in the same place

Hi, yes all the assets are stored within the application folders. The location will depend on the system you are using Win/Mac.
