I have a $250 limilox watch. It’s a good watch. I bought it for a waterproof dive watch. The illumination on it needs sent in every 10 years to be replaced. Overall you need to send it in to be replaced. It is the most I would ever spend on a watch. I know it isn’t considered expensive for watch people either.

I love Bear Grylls im huge fan of him, id love to meet him or go on an adventure. sadly those watches are amazing but that price tag is crazy! I'll probably get the little light for a gift and one for me haha! but the watch is as much as my phone.if I had the money I'd wear it for life but that's too much for me being a dad I can't justify that on a time piece.

I own one of these and they definitely feel tough and robust. There is a mark up on the watches due to the BearG partnership. The top tiered one should technically be priced at $450-$550. Screw down crown, sapphire glass, chronograph, and tritium tubes is what you’re actually paying for.

I actually looked at his line a couple days ago but immediately was turned off by the cost. These watches aren’t cheap to begin with but adding his name put them in the stratosphere.

I was gifted the Luminox 0320 for Christmas and I love the watch. It’s not their top of the line obviously but it’s a very handsome watch but I baby it. I paid about 275 for a Casio protreck and I wear that daily at a laborious job and that thing has held up well for about 4 years now. Both expensive watches but they have good reputations and I know for sure the Casio can take a beating. I would get a Luminox if you want that one good expensive watch for going out.

I paid under $300 for a steel case screw down version and that price to me is worth it.

Thanks for your videos. These are quite pricey, you can get a Casio for a lot less, even a G-Shock which are favoured by the military. Bear Grylls rocks though!

"A fool and his money are soon parted". If you really have the funds, fine. If not, then heed the old quote. Neither is worth it by any stretch of the imagination, however, this is a free country and people are free to spend their cash as they see fit.

Luminoux watches are cool, but I cannot imagine paying $500 for a plastic watch. Also, I think the light is meant to be used while still attached to the watch.

i just got the bear grylls (never give up) model and i can not find that flash light( light capsule) ANYwhere! Why?? Love the watch though

Just got the chrono w the orange band. I’ve been wanting a bad ass watch. I saw it 2 years ago, and have been saving since. Do look for prices on the internet for this watch. I got mine for around 650.00. Thanks for the video. It helped a lot.

The price tag says that these will be used more for survival in the golf course or hotel hot tub than actual outdoors.

Hello E.T.V., W/not being a watch guy, ya should check out Casio Pathfinder watches. About B.G., he was doing a survival show, then he was found in a lux. hotel room "eating in" (this was a few yrs. back but can't remember where), just say'n. My take on watches is they must do more than time and chrono's!! Most are overpriced IMHO. Casio isn't and has most beat, so far as I know and I don't know all. I was going to defend it but the $500 is not sapphire, for that you have to pay $975. Maybe at 30-40% less

To luminox, I will not spend a $1k on a watch made of basically plastic. I looked at your watches and bought the hazard4 watch due to it being titanium. The cost is not the problem. Tim good job with the review, I looked at these and for the price I expect better case material. They could meet the price point though they'd have to drop the person's name, which I'd guess people who make the money to afford these watches dont care about anyway. If we are being honest for around 1300 I could have gotten a titanium garmin smart watch. Technology has changed and 1k is flooded with smart tech, hard space to be relevant in so you better bring it and plastic with no tech isnt gona cut it anymore.

Luminox let me add what your marketing team should have. Either make a watch with tech using plastic or use titanium and make a standard watch. If your needing to give 1k watches for free your doing something wrong.
