@@eljordinio7647 It did a pretty good job against Bertha and her Hippowdon, getting some good strength and durability feats. Plus it put up a better fight against Paul's Drapion than either Staraptor or Buizel did.

I consider his performance during the Sinnoh conference a major achievement for him. He finally got his payback for the full 6v6 lose on Lake Acuity and he proved that he could make Inferape strong while controlling Blaze. Also, keep in mind that it took a guy w/ an OP (possibly) full team of Mythical Pokemon to finally knock him and even then, he took out 2 Mythical Pokemon during that battle. True, it's a lose in the end, but still a solid performance that deserves mention #NationalAshKetchumDay

My favorite wins for Ash are Ash’s orange league Victory, Ash’s battle frontier victory, and Ash’s victory for the Alola league.

I find it hilarious that we get achievements from the Orange Islands, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, the Decalore Islands, Alola and even Journeys, but nothing from XY. The season that fans love to say had the strongest Ash XD

I just now realize that while Ash is in Alola, we might actually see him have a spar with Kukui to help Ash figure out a different strategy for Roilu either with the help from Kukui's Lucario or from Kukii's 6th pokemon that he wasn't able to use because of Tapu Koko.

Fun fact: that tauros ash used became the leader of the herd. I wouldn’t mind a split series where we followed Ash’s Pokémon at the lab, see how they all interact with one another. I remember professor oak saying once that ash’s bird Pokémon liked to race each other at incredible speed.

Ash will always have his ups and downs. He’ll have his amazing times like his major victories that you mentioned and also outside of battles. He’ll have his bad times like his loss against Wulfric, or his loss against Bea. But there’s always someone or something to get him back on track. He’s still a 10 year old, but a legendary one.

I was like super excited, like right after midnight lycanroc fainted at the end, I had to pause for a second to wrap my head around this. And when I hit play and kukui announced the win for ash, I was SO ESTATIC!!

@@eljordinio7647 I don’t watch the Japanese version, so it got spoiled for me AND I had to wait like another four/five months for the English version. But even spoiled, it was an awesome battle and I was real happy to see it wasn’t some sort of illusion. I was eating pancakes for breakfast with my parents, so that helps.

@@jackofdiamonds7303 Though Sceptile taking down Darkrai and Pikachu tieing Latios was still amazing. Ash really was the only one there who could’ve done that. If Paul had beaten Ash ( I shudder to think of it) he wouldn’t have been able to pull off a win against Darkrai with just power.

Am I the only one who loves Flute cup? I mean it was his first official kind of battle and it did such a decent job in highlighting why Ash is the Champion. A contrast to other regions where he literally loses his first gym challenge! Awesome 👍

This was an awesome video Zac! Our boi Ash really has come a long way since day 1, and his list of achievements really show it. The battle frontier and Alola League wins especially, cos they really showed Ash's growth to the point where he started defeating legendaries. I can hardly wait for September the 15th so I can celebrate the Alola champion's achievements, especially the league win we all wanted to see in Alola 💙💙💙👍👍👍👍

This was a fantastic #NationalAshKetchumDay video! Loved it! This was a great trip down memory lane and you reminded me that Pokémon Sumo was a thing lol. But I highly enjoyed the video to take a look back at Ash’s major wins on his journey! He’s come such a long way!

Weight and Ash’s strength have always been inconsistent, usually dependent on the joke or sentiment of the scene.

What makes Ash’s Frontier win better is not only is he offered the position of a Frontier Brain (the only time he’s been offered a position where people come to challenge him), but in the DP series it’s shown Paul has a huge chip on his shoulder regarding Brandon since he wants to do what Reggie couldn’t by defeating the Pyramid King, and ends up getting his ass handed to him (with Ash and Reggie audience to this). It’s also a great milestone for Ash as a character because after two losses against Brandon (he was possessed the first time admittedly) he won with his his original team, and after a camping trip of reconnecting as well. Seeing Ash with Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charizard again feels like things coming full circle, his final test in a Kanto campaign only this time he’s 100% in tune with his team and full of strategy,

Pikachu vs Tapu Koko was among the three best Pokemon vs Pokemon matchups (besides Infernape vs Electivire and Greninja vs Charizard) maybe the battle wasn't super long, but the final Z-move showdown was basically like the biggest moment of the whole series. Ash learning that he felt the power of Alola all along, Ash and Pikachu's z-power surpassing the Z-God himself. This matchup was just, *EPIC*

I think Ash's battle frontier win is the most impressive. Yes, even more so than the Alola League win. Think about it. Beating the battle frontier is something that not very many people can honestly say that they did, and the fact that even Ash Ketchum, the trainer who thought therapy was a Pokemon, the trainer that got half his Kanto badges illegitimately, the trainer that was stupid enough to use Pikachu against Onix in Gen 1, completed the Battle Frontier is something to be proud of.

To be fair: the last two gym battles from the orange islands were a little difficult because of the terms of the battle (using the same type as the adversary and a double battle). Also, i noticed that the only time that silvally lost a battle was against ash and pikachu.

Taurus Tournament 9, Twinleaf Festival 8, Pokesumo tournament 7, Pokeringer 6, extreme pokeskateboard Race I’m not sure if the Contest counts as a win since it was Draw also the Skateboard race was his first win against Gary 5, Flute Cup Tournament 4, Hearthome Tag Tournament 3, Orange League 2, Battle Frontier 1, Alola League.

I hope you can use this idea that im about to make for your next vid, Ash Ketchum Age Explained, my theory is ho oh, Ash sees Ho oh on his first day of traveling after getting attacked by a swarm of spearow, Ho ohs pokedex entree says that whoever sees ho oh will have eternal happiness/joy and ashs eternal happiness is becoming a pokemon master and ho oh made that happen by making Ash stay 10 forever

Honestly, the reason why Staraptor’s pokeringer win was more significant than Swellow’s was because it was technically the first time Ash ever won something against Paul.

Seriously, imagine all of Ash friends(Original Series-XY) come together to his home in Pallet Town. Meeting each other, reacting to Ash’s achievements, and talking about his growth all while watching the Alola League. Once they saw Ash has *won* , there was silence and then absolute ecstasy for his victory. Special mention would be Serena shedding tears for her beloved.

While I wasn’t a fan of the Alola League overall due to finding that the competition paled in comparison to the previous leagues, the battle with Kukui is definitely one of the top battles in the series
