Nice! I solved that problem by gluing velcro to the outside of some old KYWI pouches then mounting them in my JSTAs. This is a cheaper and much more elegant solution. Kudos to Lunar Concepts. Definitely ordering a pair.

Grabbed one for my JSTA. I like it, works as intended. Only issue I've encountered is they changed the tabs where you route your retention bungees through from the Tegris tab to the Velcro material. I had the Velcro end up ripping on me, so no more bungee retention. Wish they stuck with their initial design, but I still like it.

Highly recommend the lunar concepts inserts. I run 1r1s and and triple 556 inserts on my Spiritus chest rig. Just do it!!!

Fits 7.62 ak mags too! A little tight fit, but at least plastic ak mags fit.

Does it go all the way down, say, if you wanted to use a 40 round PMag and an extended pistol mag?

It actually works really well with longer mags.

The JSTA is pretty deep so if you mount regular mags all the way down they're actually a bit hard to grab. It definitely works well with 40s.

Cool, my 3 mag carrier just came in. Mind boggling how they folded this. I had to take an assessment test for this apprenticeship in manufacturing I’m in and we had to basically figure out what 3D construction we would get out of 2D flat piece of steel. More or less in the “biz” only a punch press operator would have to know how to do this. I’m pretty sure everybody who took the assessment test failed this portion lol. Cuz voodoo magic or something
