GOSH can people stop with the hate? So WHAT if she greeted in Chinese? So what if her cheekbones look sharper? Mahnnn, when she doesn't make makeup videos, people complain, when she finally does makeup videos, still people find something to complain. She has a fking life too. She has made so many videos, they were ALL so different and so creative. For how long can she go on spoonfeeding you all bitches with the same basic makeup tricks? And about the cheekbones, she has definitely lost weight. Stop blaming her for everything and enjoy her videos or I have a better option, gtfo.

For any one who thinks she's dismiss her own culture: first, the traditional of celebrate Lunar new year begins in China. Thats why she dressed in Chinese style. Second, just because she's Vietnamese doesn't mean she can't celebrate festivals in foreign styles. People in Asia also celebrate Christmas and Easter and many other festival. They are just festivals and for god sake this is just a makeup tutorial. Stop make a big deal out of it. She made this video to teach us how to do makeups and we should focus on that.

Vietnam is strongly influenced by Chinese culture as the Chinese have been integrating there for centuries. Vietnam also celebrate Chinese or Lunar New year. ✌🏻

She did a Chinese themed video and some people started questioning and bashing her with "she's trying to be Chinese!" Or "she forgot her own culture"! Hmmmm seriously?? She did tons of Japanese anime themed videos and nobody said a word about her "trying to be Japanese or a cartoonish character?" People's stupidity and racism level really surprises me. It's just a Chinese themed video because lunar new year is most commonly known as Chinese New Year. Koreans, Vietnamese, Singaporeans, Malaysians, and lots of other Asian countries celebrate lunar new year, we get it, but people should really stop hating on her for picking a most commonly known nAme.if you don't like it, don't watch it, piss off quietly and find a non Chinese themed video to watch. Simple as that.

Lunar new year was originated from China. Most of the Asian countries influenced by China. Therefore, Michelle uses Mandarin greeting and Chinese headline is acceptable :-) This is her own channel and she can do everything she wants.

I honestly don't see why it's shameful for her to say happy new year in Chinese and dress in a Chinese outfit. I mean, just because she's Vietnamese doesn't mean she can't appreciate other cultures. And she's not abandoning her Vietnamese heritage, she's just trying out the Chinese New Year custom because it's cool. She's a human, she has the right to try something different, if you're really a person from her own country you should be supporting her, not shaming her for trying something out.

kinda annoyed wth those bashed her for her chinese style video ... Honestly lunar new year is more commonly known as chinese new year abroad.. so even if she did it purposely it was just for her fan to understand better ... However i think it has to do wth the chinese make up style, those pink shadowed eye, sharp liner n red lipstick... I mean it d b nice if she wear ao dai and said lunar new year but its unfair to criticize her for that, for one that grows up, lives n works in US not VN ... ideas come fr what is familiar to u not what ppl think u should do

I love that you truly teach how to apply makeup and take care of your skin at the same time. I need help with my eye shadow game and get overwhelmed by the aggressive amount of product some beauty vloggers pack onto their eyes and all over their skin. It's like "How does their skin breathe?!" and "How aren't their eyes burning with a cm-thick layer of shadow?" You still put out the best tutorials and I hope you never stop :)

Eve Fan if you google lime crime scandal you can find a lot of information on the brand. There are a lot of scandals but the most recent was people who bought products from them had their credit card information stolen. Customers tried to tell her on social media and she deleted the comments for months before it was finally dealt with. And then her way of dealing with it wasn't very professional. There are many other reasons most make up artists have boycott the brand as well.

i laughed when she said teenagers don't need primer.. we need primer more than anyone because of our problematic skin! Foundation/tinted moisturizer won't stay on my skin without it

I think she said it because since primer minimizes pores, it may cause your skin to have more problems. But I've never used primer before so I am just guessing.

Generally, teenagers shouldn't cake up their faces with too much layers to make up. It's harmful to the skin and causes more breakout. So I'm guessing what she meant here is the less the makeup you apply on your face as a teenager, the better. Because your skin is already problematic, don't make it worse.

Who said I cake on makeup? Wearing a primer and a tinted moisturizer/bb cream isn't necessarily "caking on", especially since I take care of my skin. Regardless, it's still a nightmare and I'd rather not go out in public with it looking as it does :/

Nobody's saying you're caking on makeup. I'm commenting on a general point of view. Primer is not necessarily needed when you already have BB cream on for teenagers' whose skin are more tender and fragile than adult's. Like I said, regardless, primer is still a layer of makeup and the more layers of makeup you wear, the more harmful it is to your skin.

LN Watercolor just because she's not wearing a "i love vietnam" shirt it doesnt mean she doesnt like her home country. Its good to try something different sometime, and everything you do doesnt need to stick to your own root. This is how the world of makeup works, no rules.

oh my gosh you look so beautiful with just bb cream and concealer on. so fresh and youthful. if i looked that good with just base id never wear eye makeup haha but nonetheless, the look was super on point!

Yep, It cannot be denied that Michelle is really beautiful, but I just don't get it why the form and appearance of her face seems to be very different from the face form she have in her past and very popular videos! It makes her look really thin and honestly I love how blooming she is before compared to what she looks now! But your still the best! i wear this makeup and go hanging out with friends at mall yesterday.. but.. people look at me like i was doing something criminal.. (their look at my makeup and then make that hate or weird face) it makes me uncomfortableand i had to go home early.. is it wrong to wear this kind of makeup ? :'(

She lost weight. Also she's older now. When I was younger, even at the age at 17, I still had a chubby face and my cheekbones were barely noticeable. Now that I'm older, they look more defined. .
