This was one of my favourite shows, the Harpenden Classics On The Common, which takes place each year on a sunny Wednesday. It surprisingly brings a long a huge and wide selection of cars, from a JDM R34 GTR to a legendary Ferrari F40 to the daunting sight of a military tank driving down the road!

Wow that yellow R34 GTR was very clean. It still had the twin turbo, not been converted to a massive single turbo. What a sweet looking engine and engine bay the front panel looks to be carbon fibre with lots of other carbon touches 💯💯🔥🔥🔥👌👌👌👊👊👊👍👍👍

3:31 That's a Mitsubishi Cordia - extremely rare worldwide, let alone in the UK. Jackie Chan used one in his 1985 movie "Police Story" to crash through a hillside shanty town.

M10C Tank Destroyer. British version using the 17pdr.

M10 tank destroyer had a tandem engine fitted. 2 Detroit 6 cylinder diesel engines coupled together. Huge torque output. The Same single Detroit 6 cyl was used in Kenworth Trucks . It could pull over 100 tonnes in low range. More impressive in design though was the 30 Cylinder Chrysler Engine fitted in some Shermans. 5 banks of inline 6 cylinders in a star shape config around one Crankshaft. They sound amazing. Changing 30 spark plugs...not so amazing. Sherman also had other variants, a 9 cylinder aircooled radial engine from an Aeroplane, Prat & Witney wasp i think and a regular diesel engine version power plant.

I come to this video for the Girls und Panzer, or Girls und Achilles to be accurate, and stay for all the other cool cars, LOVE that F40 & R34!!! (For the tank enthusiasts, I'm saying it's an Achilles instead of Wolverine due to the muzzle break & counterweight on the gun). 🤓

@@irfuel SPGs tend to be role specific like SPA (artillery), SPAA (anti-air), SPATG (tank destroyer). They are basically a big gun on tracks/wheels, usually a bit quicker, more mobile and lightly armoured/no protection at all. Oh and they aren't always turreted. Modern MBTs (main battle tank) have heavy frontal armour, tracks and are turreted with a high calibre gun. They have multiple roles such as close infantry support, anti-armour, anti-fortification. Tldr tanks are heavily-armoured front line tracked vehicles. SPGs are big guns on tracks/wheels not meant for direct combat. I tried my best.
