Hi, Terry 👍. Nice one, yes, Scott’s in Troon is a great place to eat and meet up 👍. We are lucky to have Troon as our nearest coastal spot, just 30 minuets down the road. Have you tried ‘Highgrove House Hotel’ just up the hill behind Troon ? It is our favourite lunch spot in the area 👍. Cheers, Don 🙋‍♂️

Hi Terry l was at the exact same spot on 8 Sep this year it was an absolute glorious day if fact the last warmest day l remember as l sat on that blue bench eat my Greggs piece, but l only took a few photos and quite a few years ago my son and myself went to Wee Hurrie and loved it brought back lots of good memories.

Hi Terry, Great walk along the beach. So many modes of transport featured here. The kite surfers have big events here every so often and the windsurfers love hanging out along that coastline. I remember in the summer during that mega hot spell I headed to Dundonald Castle to film that but went to Troon for a look and the shoes and socks were off and I was straight in that water.. I couldn't believe how warm it was and the beach went down into the water for agesmi don't think a dip was on the cards. The train station was destroyed due tofireas well. Sad to see. Have you walked the Ayrshire coastal path? Did the wee ones get a chance to get on the beach? The restaurant looked really nice. Great place to goafyera good walk. Great wintery beach video sir.
