La Place des Vosges is one of the most picturesque and exclusive squares in Paris. Originally built by King Henri IV, the square is encompassed by 36 hôtels particuliers, which are identical in design except for the King's and Queen's pavilions located above gateways leading outside the square.

Place Du Vosges is a wonderful experience. The square is very beautiful and fun to navigate. I am a fan of Cafe Hugo located at 22 Place du Vosges. Reasonably priced fare, i door and outdoor seating and excellent soup l’ongion gratinee. Very good in winter too.

I enjoy your KZfaq channel especially since it’s about Paris. I visited Paris every year for over 20 years, most recently two weeks in January and heading back for a month next week staying in le Mairie so a visit to Place du Vosges and cafe Hugo are a must. so you pronounce all these words with a lovely French accent but get "crêpe" wrong like every American?

You caught me! I try to strike a balance between pronouncing things the French way and being understandable by my audience. Crêpes are widely known in America, so I went with the familiar pronunciation.
