Looks like a light boat. I have a Lund Rebel and the thing feels huge and spacious but you can tell it's super light in the waves and trailering. Lund really puts some thought into their products.

Wow, this is exactly what I've been looking for, specs and layout wise, and they offer the 17 foot model with a 90? I'm interested. I've looked at all the others in this class from various other competing brands, but not one has had everything I wanted as far as price, and layout is concerned. Not a fan of Trackers. The Ranger RT178 is the closest I've found to being what I want, but the biggest motor they offer it with is a 75. I'm curious to see the build options, prices, and performance ratings on this boat... but Lund hasn't put the information on their website yet I don't think.

Just in from Lund: 1775 Renegade w/ a 50HP is $16,995 and a 90 HP is $18,995 1875 Renegade w/ a 90HP is $20,595 and the new Merc Pro XS 115HP is $21,695 these prices do not include dealer Freight or Prep

I have looked at both boats and the Renegade 1775 offers much better room than the Ranger RT178 all around. Just a much better layout.

Are the two aft storage compartments not water sealed?

That's right, the lids aren't sealed but the compartment will self drain.

Lund makes some beautiful boats. I just wish they were welded. I hate rivets.

Renegade 1775 or 1875 for 2,500 acre lake?

We love our company 1875 Renegade for small to mid-sized waters. The 115hp outboard pairing makes it a formidable setup. That said, you won't be disappointed if budget, space and personal preference steer you into a 1775.
