Looked like a great idea so I tried it. Unfortunately, the hatch on my Lund isn't as waterproof as expected - the water went into the hatch and into the tote - which of course IS waterproof. The tote filled up about halfway submerging most of my tackle underwater. Now I'm switching to all waterproof tackle trays and I drilled holes in the bottom of my tote to allow water to drain out... Lesson learned!

I'm more impressed with theese Lund bass boats and their storage capacity with every review I watch. I can't stand clutter on the deck when I'm fishing but I can't stand fishing without all my tackle. This boat looks like the ideal setup to me.

What size is that sterilite tote if i want to order them. I cant find one thats close fitting for the trays. Been looking for years. Stores around me, lowes, rona, walmart, homedepot, canadian tire, superstore. Dont have any close enough
