We cover activities you won't find in a typical Lunenburg tourism brochure, Lunenburg itinerary or Lunenburg city tour.
Come find out what makes Lunenburg, Nova Scotia the coolest town in all of Canada!
LUNENBURG TRAVEL GUIDE | 18 Things to do in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada
If you're into photography and you're looking for some cool photo ops Tannery road just before you hit the golf course is where to get the classic shot. But even if you're not into photography and you just want to enjoy a pretty sunset this is a nice spot and there's an area where you can park your car.
And for anyone interested in where we stayed i booked us a room at the mariner inn which is actually spread out across several buildings in the center of town. Our room was in the cranberry suites which is the bright fuchsia building over here i like that we were smack dab in the heart of Lunenburg.
And we could walk everywhere plus they also had a really nice breakfast that was served in the sun room in the main building. However my favorite part of this inn was riding the nautical slash underwater themed elevator complete with the whale and octopus - it's the little things.
And that is a wrap for our Lunenburg travel guide. It's crazy to think we did all of that in one day but yes it is possible. We stayed in town for an additional three days so we'll be sharing some fun day trips to Mahone bay , Lahave islands and more. If you enjoyed this video we invite you to give it a like hit that subscribe button and join us for the rest of our road trip across Nova Scotia. See you on the road.

I actually have the great pleasure of living in this beautiful town. My children were fortunate to attend the 1895 built Lunenburg Academy, the ‘castle on the hill’. (Now our town library and a Musical Arts Academy). 🥰🇨🇦✨

As a Lunenburg resident, thank you for visiting and sharing our town’s beautiful sights, locations and activities. One recommendation for anyone who wishes to learn more about Lunenburg’s history is to visit the Knaut-Rhuland House Museum on Pelham Street. A museum interpreter can give you a personalized guided tour while walking through one of Lunenburg’s oldest houses (the museum).

I’m from Lunenburg, and I’m glad to see a video of those who visit and share the amazing things the little town of Lunenburg has to offer. I work at the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic, I know this year was different, but I still hope your visit was a good one! Hopefully your time was good enough that it makes you want to visit again. You guys are doing a really excellent job Vlogging your Nova Scotia tour. I'll definitely check out some of your other places when I get the time. One thing you didn't mention is that the entire town of Lunenburg is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. My last last meal in Lunenburg was a pizza at the Salt Shaker Deli as well--so yummy. Sometimes the boat tours offer a puffin tour to Pearl Island. It's about an hour out, half hour or so there and hour back but it is worth it for the birds. Lots Atlantic Puffins, Razorbills, Kittiwakes etc. The puffins are so colorful, like Lunenburg. Looking forward to more of your Vlogs.

Oh thanks again for another beautiful and inspiring video. Nova Scotia now is really on my top list of travel destinations. Funny thing: One of my grand-uncles (is this the correct term? brother of my grandfather) was Professor of Metallurgical Engineering at the Nova Scotia Technical College of Halifax after he and his wife emigrated from Latvia to Germany at the start of WW2 and then from Germany to Canada in the 50s. Later in the 70s they came back to Germany. As a child, Halifax (or Canada in general) to me was always "somewhere over the rainbow" 😀

There is another Memorial on the other side of the Bay close to Bayswater Beach. That is where you will find the Passenger list and where all the Remains are buried. Peggy’s Cove was just a Media Center. The actual work was being done on the other side . I was out on the water that night in a Fishing boat with Search and Rescue personal on board. It was a traumatic night for everybody involved.
