Oh I wish I had found this 40 years ago! I've been sewing since I was 12 and I have embroidered my hands off but it was never quite enough. I could never figure out how to do sequins and beading. I love this!

I have been sewing since I was 8 years old and l've always been intrigued by the beautiful beads and rhinestones that are on gowns and other items, and I didn't know where or how to learn of this skill! Querida Lourdes, ¡gracias por tus amables palabras! El nombre del instrumento es Luneville Hook y la aguja # 70. Los hilos son difíciles de encontrar, uso hilo de algodón encerado de Japón Sumiko

Hello my dear)) I am sorry for this late reply. From what I understood you have a problem with the large hoops and you faced the difficulty with drawing the loop out smoothly. First of all, the problem might be in not very good quality needle. If you purchased the chinese set - you may simply go to www.broderieplaisir.com/en/pointe-diametre-70.html and buy needle # 70. Why you're doing it upside down? The beads are supposed to be placed in the other side of the fabric, and the double line stitch should lie in the back of the work, not in the front =\

Luneville is done on the top in the french method… tambour is done underneath… they are two different techniques.
