Lure Making Diving Popper for Tuna and GT - Part 2 build to catch 🎣

Күн бұрынSecond part of the lure making diving popper includes the painting of the lure blank, using the airbrush and my favourite lufa sponge mesh pattern. Foiling of the lure face and fins. Mandatory action footage at the end of the video. I also included some footage of the salt water action chasing tunas on the skiff, offshore of Kizimkazi in Zanzibar.

Rod - Daiwa BG offshore popper 2.3m 40-150g
Reel - Shimano Spheros SWA 8000
Line - Daiwa J-braid X8 PE4 79lb
Leader - Savage Gear Regenerator 115lb
Line to leader knot - FC with Rizzuto finish
Lure - Sinking Stickbait 17cm 110g
Hooks - Owner 3/0

Yeah it worked fine - the first bite came very fast... Unlucky, normally the tuna dives straight to deep water, this one get under the boat 🫤 but I got my birthday fish in the end 💪😃

Yeah it was real unfortunate bite, otherwise I would have chance for much bigger PB... I was planing to do regular large mouth popper in this pattern and also smaller sinking stickbait.

Thanks 🙂 most definitely will make another one, as a diving popper IMO is best of both worlds of floating stick bait and popper 💪 feel free to copy it, that's what the tutorials are for, I'm not making lures for sale so I done mind 😉 all the best from Poland 👋🎣🇵🇱

это Harden and Steinbeck модель Ultra - размер сопла 0.19мм 👌 лучший аэрограф который можно купить за 100$ намного лучше чем Neo для Иваты 👍
