Just mixed up 5 different colors of Eye Candy pigments like you showed in the video Frank. I took some spoons and did a basecoat of white, then sectioned off the spoons and sprayed black, purple and moss green and left a strip of white on the spoon. I then sprayed the 5 different mixed colors onto the spoon. I'll use those as a reference going forward. Good information and thanks for showing me how to do this. There are some interesting and unique effects with these pigments! Oh, and I have that same 4-E's mixer and it's worth every penny and more. Good stuff as always Frank! Thanks again.

I’ll second you on the best investment one could make is in that sonic mixer. I got one off Amazon hoping I could restore some unopened FW inks that had separated and solid on the bottom. I was blown away at how fast and how thorough it’s blended the separated ink. Think I paid like $48 for mine off Amazon

25 years ago I bought a whole set of powder pigments. I've always mixed the powders in my clear coats usually some 2 part urethane or lacquer clear. Along with that I used to mix my glitter thing with my clear codes also something no one seems to go over on these airbrushing sites. Can save yourself a lot of money on buying color-shifting paints which I find is kind of amusing. There's a lot of people out there that have been airbrushed in for a long time anyways you have a good Channel I've always enjoyed watching.

You can also use cheap necklace beads from hobby lobby or Michael's that are heavy to put in paint bottles they work very well and don't have to worry about rusting

Love your vids, I want to learn about transparent paint for some of the ghost patterns you make, not much info out there about using clear sealer or 4004 transparent base, have you done a vid on these yet, would really help. Thanks.

Frank, have you tried any products from solar dust? I mainly use them in my clear coats, Green/Gold/Purple shifts, Grey/Blue/Purple, etc etc. They are amazing. I'm sure Eye Candy has something similar. Love the videos. Keep up the good work sir.

how quick does that pigment settle in the bottom of the spray cup, or does it suspend in the UVLS

I would think using UVLS would give you a hazy finish somewhat, its not gin clear! Pledge renew it, hardwood floor coating would be a good carrier for the colored pigment, it’s a good clear coating, plus it’s hard when dry so it protects before putting a clear coat on! I use it over the Spaz Stix Mirror to retain the shininess. Your right when one likes to experiment with this hobby it is a black hole for one’s money! But still cheap entertainment!

You can get those pearl powers and color powers at MF Mfg. their in Haltom City Texas, their in 2oz. Bottles they sell to the public they Mfg. every thing used to make soft plastic baits. I use all these powers
