Lush needs to watch your videos and take notes on your feedback. Especially since I usually order products after watching your video and I am sure others do the same.

They recommend that you crush the bath bomb in the water instead of letting it fizz on its own! That helps create the jelly texture that makes themso great :)

A lush employee has told me that you are suppose to hold it under water, any jelly bath bomb

It literally says "Put your jelly bomb into the tub and help it dissolve by holding it under the running water, swirling it around in the tub or playing with it as it slowly fizzes." on the website if you look under "how to use" lol

I wish lush would just make some new scents in regular bath bombs and bubble bars, ones that aren't citrus. I'm not into the slime.

Lush should have spent more time on product development to make sure these would work when made in large batches. After seeing how xpurr's jelly bombs, as well as lushalot's jelly bombs did not dissolve, I will definitely not be buying any of these. Lush overlooking the production of these bombs is especially egregious considering they're the most expensive bath bomb option.

Honestly, the slimey look to this makes me want to hurl. The jelly looks like colored spit. Like I drank a lime slurpee, then spit. I would (at least) dry heave if I were to sit in that.🤢 No, no, no, no. Never.😣

Really they say to put it under running water and it was on the instructions

If you read about the on their web site it says to put it under a running tap not just throw it in

I've only used one jelly bomb so far (the marmalade one) and it was fantastic. I have the big sleep also but haven't used it yet. Too bad yours have been poor experiences!

It looked really cool at first when it started to fizz and color the water, so it was extremely disappointing when it failed to completely dissolve. Great demo!

Despite the fails I still think I'm going to buy them, especially ectoplasm. But I do think that they should keep developing the recipes until they are perfect

Ugh. They also released all the Halloween/Christmas stuff with jelly bombs 😩 I wonder if they perfected it. There will be A LOT of lushies that will be disappointed by this/or are right now! I will not be trying these, it looks super slimey and gooey too. I'm sorry this happened to you!

I agree with you and had the same problem with my ectoplasm. I ordered 2 and will crush up the 2nd one with a hammer and use it as bath 'salt' 😊

At least you can crush the last bits and mix them in, or run them under the water and mix them in like a bubble bar. I really like the colours that come out when this one dissolves too.

I’ve only used Jelly bombs and I got a green coconut and this happened too. Not a really big deal, I like the way the jelly doesn’t dissolve.

I remember buying this just when the jelly bombs were released and I was dissapointed when mine didnt work.

Ok I thought I'd give it a go anyway and I actually liked it a lot! It bought mine online and it worked super well! The whole thing dissolved no problems and it left a good layer on the top. When I got in I could feel how moisturising it was and after about 5-10 minutes it was all gone and I found myself sitting in a murky green but totally acceptable bath 😍 Definitely give it a go anyway. You may get lucky!

Ok so as far as jelly bombs go, I had 2 ectoplasms. Lush does say to hold jelly bombs under running water like a bubble bar. I did that with one of them and it didnt help. However I did that with a secret arts and I got a loooottttttt of jelly.

The reason for this is that you aren’t reading the directions for the jelly bombs. They clearly state to hold them under the running water. Every jelly bath bomb description in the booklet and the website tells you this.

im not sure if it has anything to do with it but i got my daughter one of these and shes a bit of an odd one and likes her bath water barely even warm and the jelly bombs worked perfectly for her.

Omg when you picked up the slime and let it slide around in your hand, it made me feel sick 🤢 I actually had to look away. There's no way I'll be getting any slimy jelly bombs...

It seems these new jelly bombs are really hit or miss. I ordered 8 before I knew this. 😔 My dark arts went perfectly as designed and it was really cool. Then I tried the marmalade one. Fail. HUGE FAIL. I had the exact same problem only the parts that didn't dissolve were magenta. You can imagine what my hands looked like after crushing the large chunks. Took a day to fade away. And I made the mistake of not cleaning my tub immediately. The stains do go away without difficult scrubbing but it took a few days. I tried the coconut one tonight. Same issue but not as bad. So disappointed in the execution of these. Now I'm dreading trying ectoplasm and snow fairy. Lush should have perfected the formula before releasing these. On the plus side, the rocket (non jelly) bomb was pretty awesome.

I bought this Jelly bomb online (AU), But I usually break my bombs in half so I can use them twice. I did it for ectoplasm weirdly it worked completely fine mainly because I had no chunks or pieces left after it finished fizzing.... Who knows baha. (tbh I don't think jelly bombs are as good as the Originals).. :)

I had the same result. I was so disappointed with Lush for releasing a product that wasn't perfected yet. Also after crushing the purple bits my bath water turned this transparent brown colour and not that nice lime green so I don't know... maybe I got a dud.

I actually held mine under th es running water and it still sucks. It barely colored the water, the fragrance sucks, and it's underwhelming

This is going to sound so weird, but maybe try putting one in a food processor (or crush it somehow) before adding it to the bathtub? So it's finely ground and can fully dissolve. Hahaha Obviously you shouldn't have to do that, but just a thought I had to get better use out of the other ones you have! :) Love your videos btw

I got this today and when I used it it didnt even have any color. The Jelly left a bunch of pieces and it made my tub super cloudy. I didnt even smell the scent. UGHHHH

The reason it might not be working that well is because you’re not supposed to put it in the bath right away. You have to run it under water so the jelly part comes off, then you put it in the bath. The reason I know this is because I just bought a few of these and an employee told me that☺️

Mine did the exact same thing. Bought in the uk, clearly the formula is the same everywhere and just really bad. I normally love Lush but this bath feels gross. Lumps of jelly are sticking to me.

The jelly bombs were a cool concept until they introduced that light green color into this one. It straight up looks like mucus! Big mistake!

When these get to the US stores I'm going to cut it into chunks and then put it in boiling bath water. Maybe it'll dissolve Better in smaller chunks? I was thinking that maybe jelly bombs were made with lush crushing in mind but that didn't appear to make a difference for you.

Ummm I got this and the girl said it was slime but it was a overall amazing bath but there was NO jelly...

The bomb did fail but that color that comes out reminds me of glow in the dark paint.. they need to do something about the bombs.

I commented on lush's jelly bomb video saying the product is so vague, wanted to know how they benefit my skin, what they are, and why they're taking the place of so many products. As a person who works in sales, I want to be convinced. They did reply to me. All they said was to go to their lush USA page and look at the ones available 🙃
