Had been waiting for a healthcare professional with a dermatology background to review Lush. Self-proclaimed beauty gurus with sponsorships only make me more suspicious. Also, glad you are respectful, yet honest about the brand. Basically, their products are great as gifts, but not as treatments for skin or hair ailments.

Lush just opened a store near me. This video was super helpful. I learned two things: I now know that they sell have masks (my fav). I also confirmed that I'm not hurting my skin by using their face mask, which is really why I clicked on the video. Thanks!

Thank you for making this video! ^_^ As an ecologist, I have a huge amount of respect for Lush's environmental and social responsibility, and have been using their products for years in an attempt to minimize packaging in my life. However, after about eight years (I'm 27) of trying every face cleanser, mask, toner and moisturizer they have, NOTHING they offer helps with my oily face and acne. :( I'm starting to understand why. The challenge now is finding an eco-friendly brand that offers minimal or recyclable packaging AND relies on science in its formulations. Time to start researching... All the best! - Sarah, Canada

I love Lush, but having watched several dermatologists videos on KZfaq and learned about ingredients, i have started to wonder about the effectiveness of Lush products. This video states my thoughts. I will continue to use Lush as an enjoyment (i love their body peelings and especially their soaps), but not as a treatment.

I wish Lush would produce a dermatologist-approved line, like a body wash with chemical exfoliants. What is your opinion on their bath bombs? Should they be washed off after use?
