Steve Williams: Ditto that 1000%. However, I don't get nor understand what was wrong w/the audience. Other than clapping, they gave Luther nothing to work with energy wise. Had, I had the privilege of being there, security would of escorted me out. I was gonna get up & really start the party & once I got started there would of been "no stopping me now." RIH Luther. Why do the good people go early???....I grew up in Harlesden, London in the 80's, went on holiday with a few friends, flew home, got the train to Wembley....entered Wembley Arena suitcase in hand...and watched this LEGEND. 2022 Love this performance! Miss Mr. Luther Vandross! Had the pleasure of meeting/seeing him on the street in NYC -Upper East side, 2001. In my boldness, I offered him a ride because he had just exited a shop and was on the sidewalk. Seconds later a black Maybach pulled up . He didn't need a ride in my little company car (Volvo) lol lol He so Oh no thank you as he casually strolled to the his ride. So classy, so humble but so fabulous all at the same time!

I am from North Germany. Whe get contact to RnB Music from Dutch Radio Hilversum , less Contact to UK broadcast, BFBS the british "Wehrmachtsender" In South Germany, we have US Military Instalations and AFN. I have to consider, that WASP People still listen to John Cogar Mellencamp, Curtis Stiger and Bruce Springsteen while Blacks listen to Gangsta Rappers. The pointersisters where surprised and exited when they went on tour to the Netherlands: Oh Holland , Oh over the atlantic ocean, Oh and this doubledutch speaking people like our music!

One of the many things I love about this is that Luther's arrangement stayed true to the original McFadden & Whitehead - he just put his own magic touch on it and in my opinion made it even better, and this is on of my all-time favorite classic disco singles. And man, what an arrangement and production! Never get tired of that voice - one of my three-all time favorite male pop vocalists.

There were so many greats in the 80’s. Luther, George Michael, Michael Jackson, Prince and Whitney. All very gifted vocalists, lit up the stage when they were performing and wrote songs that are as relevant today as they were back then. I would go back in time in a minute.

How could you not love him 😢 I was so young when he passed but I remember crying because he was one of my father’s favorite artists. My daddy passed in 2013 so now every time I hear a Luther song I get super emotional. It’s so hard but I love his music 😩

I LOVED this song by McFadden and Whitehead. It was my personal high school graduation anthem. I didn’t think it was possible to like it any more, BUT Luther changed my mind! He took it to another level, as he did with so many remakes.❤️❤️❤️

I lived i América many years and graduated in an American college. The best parties I went to were of my good friends who were African Americans, everyone dance non stop all night. They were always nice to me although I was latin . It is a great culture. And, I have the utmost respect for them. It is sad how in América you were and have been discrimenated.

I went to this concert in Nashville TN. Luther was GREAT, their will never be another Luther Vandross, he was awesome, Beautiful Voice!!!

Saw him many moons ago at the Wembley arena. Amazing! I`m a die hard rock fan (she insisted) but credit where its due Luther and his band were brilliant. Great night. Such a miss.....
