this will be fun because Brazil🇧🇷 always translate movie titles (not literal translation but something that summarize the movie plot), movie songs when is kid movies and we always watch dubbed, our dubbing is considered one of the best in the world and gained some awards.🏆 K-drama only conquered a great number of Brazilian viewers when it started to be dubbed in Portuguese on netflix

I think this is only fun for countries who actually translate/change their movie titles like Germany, France, and Brazil; because like what Violin said, in Indonesia we just use the original English titles. 🤷‍♂️ But I do see the logic behind localizing titles to make it more relatable to the market, in which case I would translate the titles as follows: 1. Die Hard = Nggak Mati-mati 2. Spider-Man: No Way Home = Laba-laba Kesasar Pas Pulang 3. Inside Out = Mudal 4. Star Wars = Tawuran Artis 5. Home Alone = Anak Telantar 6. Love Actually = Beneran Demen 7. The Holiday = Healing Dulu

Divertidamente means something like "Funnily", but it plays with the suffix MENTE which also means MIND The Portuguese suffix "-mente" is equivalent to "-ly" in English and is used to form adverbs from adjectives. It originally comes from the Latin "mente," which means "mind" in English, reflecting how it was once used to denote manner or way of thinking. Over time, the usage evolved to create adverbs denoting the manner or degree of an adjective.

It's really sad that the German translation "Stirb langsam" of "Die Hard" actually lacks the pun that's in the English title. I just learnt a few days ago that it acually means something like being actually pretty resiliant. In German it would be better translated by "Nicht totzukriegen".^^ "Stirb langsam" is like a bad wish from your enemie to you to die slowly.

Ele acentua a primeira sílaba, por isso fica estranho. ele fala BRAzil, seria braZIIIL

@@paulocostoliyt Não é só isso, ele pronuncia errado mesmo, a pronúncia da vogal na primeira sílaba BRA é a do schwa /ə/ e não o /a/ normal como ele pronuncia, além de ele tmb colocar o stress na sílaba errada, como vc já disse
