Sorry to say that LUV was not carried here in the states back in the day. I just recently came across them, what a nice throwback group to hear and look at. Jose was or is my favorite, but all are beautiful.

They tried to conquer the USA, but that unfortunately didn't succeed. Their management made us believe that they sold thousands of singles in Mexico and received a golden record. But you can Google your ass off, but nothing can be found on that......

Being into punk, post-punk, gothic, new-wave and other stuff like that, I never though that someday I'd ever like them that much. They are awesome. And, btw, they also gave much inspiration for Welch indie band Helen Love (now I instantly realized WHY its vocalist Helen named herself LOVE). Heleb love partially covered Shoes Off (Botts On) - they have a record, namely entitled "Boots On", and also used some extracts of Luv's recordings in their "Rodney English Disco". I was surprised by having found out it.

As a 40 year long fan of Luv', I am so excited that you added this information!! Never knew this, so Googled, and found Helen's song 'Boots On'. Thank you so much for sharing!!!!!!!!!!!

@@PrinceImpossible You are welcome! I'm always glad to share this actually since three years ago I was excited myself by this find. Helen Love's sleeves were always collage styled, and here in the bunch of random pics in the slideshow you can also find the picture of Luv' kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b8dzpreAsNDXkY0.html I'm fan of Helen love for quite a decent period of time, and well-aware of Luv' as well since 2008 because of a couple ABBA-sounding-like tracks like Dream Dream or Ooh, Yes I do. But I would never ever though that Helen Love can be a Luv' devoter. That was a huge surprise for me.

wel jammer dat telkens het refrein eraan komt er reeds een ander nummer ingemixed wordt. Vind ik een beetje 'n afknapper. Maar anders leuk geprobeerd.

Dat begrijp ik heel goed. Ik hoor dat vaker. Toch heb ik dat expres gedaan, omdat de refreintjes van een aantal nummers al zó vaak gebruikt zijn in andere medleys etc. Thanks voor je eerlijke reactie!
