Hi, cute wig! To answer your question, I'm 60 years loved and I never saw women in my family wear hair nets to bed. I did see lunchroom workers in the school cafeterias wear nets, both men and women. Also, people at family dining establishments used to prepare abd serve food with hair nets on. Hair was unwanted in food then but many food workers lobbied to end the sanitation practice of hair nets.
