it’s because their core is so strong that they don’t need a belt to brace against so it’s more as a lower back pad, hence the thinner front part of the belt but wider back part. also, when they clean and jerk they need the belt lowest as possible so it doesn’t restrict their mid section.

i am no massage professional but i am acquainted with asian culture, especially with massage and other medicines. the chinese are quite traditional in their massage techniques and other recovery techniques. they will do things like ‘tui na’ or ‘cupping’ etc. they may see these techniques as more effective and it is also linked to placebo in that it’s heavily linked to them believing it works on top of the REAL benefits. so maybe a massage gun would give similar or same results but if they don’t believe it will they may not notice the effects as much, you get me? i hope that helps!

I don't know what his views are but why would you care? I don't care that Michael Phelps likes cupping, I care that studies have failed to show any benifits, I don't care that hafthor likes I've baths I care that studies have shown it to impair recovery

Do what the best do but also whatever feels right for you. I personally use them just to release a bit of blood into the sore area or muscle and loosen it up a bit but I don’t think massage guns are even near as effective as a massage just because of the angles and pressure etc but bottom line do it ALL! Ice baths etc etc

Not exactly, he does bench, but not with heavy weights. He says,"bench press reduce the mobility in his shoulders"

I don't bench and have been adding mass with just shoulder press and pushups. Bench works triceps and front delts way more then chest, dips r known as the best pec builder out there, so ya I'd say start doing those.

I mean... his chest really isn't all that muscular... their accessories dips/jerks/shoulder work pretty much covers the chest too. but mainly the fact that he has low body fat and huge shoulders and core... shapes out his chest. but relaly his chest is not big
